    Morning :hello:

Up and at it already this morning, TD already on and I haven't even had a brew yet  I AM becoming addicted :D

Got a bit disheartened with it all last night after hoovering and tidying the kitchen/hallway for the third time cause of kids, I cleaned it and I wanted it to stay clean and they come in and just ruined it  had a bit of a cry and a 'why do I bother - oh woe is me' time, then I decided to have a bath and pulled myself together - think I was tired, ok today though, but woe betide any of them today who think they're gonna just keep dumping stuff and leaving crumbs everywhere - I have my  helmet on - they need telling!!

    To do list:-

    *TD x 3 - 1st one already in as said - Done
*WM x 2 (I really don't know where it comes from) - Done
*Put leftover bolognese into single portion dishes for freezer
    *Iron/put away
*Finish off things I didn't do yesterday re: shopping list - Done, net curtain/windows
    * Take two bags of rubbish round to OH's bin (I've got loads this week) - Done
    * Do dishes/dry/put away - Done
    * Hoover through downstairs - Done
    * Put away bags/xmas tree/decs from DD#2 room (found in cupboard at top of stairs when I emptied it) - Done

Have a rest this afternoon - hope there's a good film on

Night time routine:- Haven't started this as for years I refused to work after 7pm - so tea dishes get left till the next morning, as do cups etc, but gonna try it tonight and see if it makes a difference - methinks it will

    Have a good one folks!

We are getting visitors today (only the police to get a statement from my husband after being on a city bus that crashed, no major injuries)
but no need to run around tidying and hoovering, finding them a chair to sit in, hide paperwork in drawers etc because I have been FLYING :D :A

Small thing but means so much to me. No shouting at kids to help me, no panicky feeling, no feeling of failure, its brill!!

Only a wee drop of ironing (school shirts)

    quick hoover

SC (make big batch of bolognese for freezer)

remind kids to take their things upstairs

keep hotspots clear - dining table and coffee table

paper filing (been on my list for a week, can't bring myself to do it, maybe if I set the timer for 10 minutes and break it up)

    Morning all

Shan't be doing an awful lot here today as DS is 4 on Tues and we are having a party lunch and then the local play area or simlilar. As it was only my first few days of flying and I am still not quite off the ground we are having the party at my parents. But I know if I keep going I will soon be able to have parties here, but the next significant birthday in this house is mine and that's not til December:D so a bit of time to work on it :rotfl:

Hope you all have a good Sunday

(((((((((((((((embb)))))))))))) I hope you are feeling better today, feel free to shout! We're doing doing kids any favours by letting them grow up to be scruffy little monkeys!

As for the nighttime routines, hun they make such a difference you wouldn't believe! Just imagine waking up in the morning, knowing where everything is, that everything is prepared ready to walk out the door and the kitchen and living room are neat enough for anyone to walk in your door first thing in the morning. It's only a quick run round making sure all uniforms are ready, that you have everything you need for the next day, and a very quick tidy of the kitchen and living room.

Susieb is there any room in your hallway for a couple of nice looking storage boxes where people could put stuff?
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning all, doing some things before I take the boys out, taking dogs out first then off to play area, DP has annoyed me in the 5 minutes I seen him for this morning so need some 'chill' time.

Floors just finished, washing done and hung out, breakfast for boys made and dishes done, wiped over the bathroom inc toilet, off to take the dogs out then we'll have lunch before going to play area (will do dishes before we go back out) Seeing as I'll be sat alone while they play I'm going to take my coursework with me and read that. See I've already thought about that bit!

I'm looking for storage myself today, want a couple of lidded boxes to put in the boys rooms for their shoes and trainers. Wellies & DS's motox boots can then sit on the top if needs be, hopefully get big enough to fit them all in. Sick of them being dumped in the hall too and it's too narrow to put boxes in there. Will see what shops we pass on way to play area and what they have in. If I let them pick the boxes (within reason) and choose how to decorate them (will get them to find pictures of shoes etc online and colour them in, maybe even let them take photos and print them out, do some 'funky' wording with publisher) then they are more likely to use them.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Morning everyone....... ooops, well, it was when I last looked! :D

I'm not long back from Sunday School with dd - ds and dh have made a lego mess in the lounge while we were gone. Now dh seems to have disappeared off out. Oh well, emptied DW and started to refill, SC on for dinner, put away some washing, feeding dd & ds their lunch and have now sat down at the computer to do a little research for tonights film & book club meet. We've been a little slack at organising our meeting this time so I hope we can remember what we've read and seen. I'm not hosting this time which is a shame as my house is looking quite fly at the moment!:j thanks for all the support on here.

Looking forward to seeing what the cleaning tasks are tomorrow! (Did I really just type that - :o )
