hi all - v amusing reading through this (sorry if not meant to be
) have been at work all day but welcome and hello to all newbies and sorry to hear some of you having bad days.
re fridge magnets i once saw one that said 'dull women have immaculate houses' so we must be the most interesting women ever!!! :rotfl:
re peeing( ) i once went on a study day about pelvic floorand a physio talked about women who are referred and huge percentage of women who do exercises don't have to have surgery so get pulling those pelvic floor!! also in uk about 30 in 100 (i think i remember it right) have probs in borneo (!) 1 in 100 because as teens girls get taught them in preparation for marriage - apparently benefits both parties
oh well off to pick up toys and load dishwasher - then really must study as library book due back yesterday so must return it tomorrow0 -
Well, i dont feel like ive done much, but ive done a bit.
Kitchen, bathroom and toilets all clean, DW on and WM going on in a minute with all todays clothes. I still need to hoover (after ive finished typing this) but thats it. Ive also cleaned a display unit in my kitchen. Its one of those areas that look nice, and i never think of cleaning as its out of my reach. However i noticed some old postcards displayed on it, moved them and they were FILTHY, so that was it, microfibre cloth and hot water and now its lovely and clean.
Around the computer is nearly done, when the cupboard door is shut, it looks fine, but i do have a pile of stuff still needing sorting underneath. That will be done this weekend tho.
Right, im going to hoover and get in my pjs - that way i can hang the washing on the airers before bed, so another job done!!!0 -
Well utility is lovely and clean, but study still looks like a bomb has landed, dh and me will have another go laterAlways on the hunt for a bargain0

You know when you're flylady crazy when:
- you are no longer afraid of unexpected visitors.
- you actually HOPE for an unexpected visitor just so you can show off your wonderfully clean lounge.
- you get impatient with visitors who stay too long because you want to get on with cleaning.
- you give the toilet a quick wipe while your visiting friend is pouring another cup of coffee.
- you go to visit a friend and wipe your feet on the way OUT! (nicked this one.. think it's a cracker!)
- you nod your head in understandig when somebody says: 27 fling boogie.
- you are surprised when somebody doesn't understand the term 27 fling boogie
- Clean something extra just so you can write about it on the forum
- you check and wait around impatiently on the forum each night because you can't wait to find out what tomorrow's task is!

Yay my desk and half of my study look amazing
Not sure I want to tackle the other half yet. Also gave my desk at work a good sort out and got rid of all the stuff that was in the drawers when I started there nearly a year ago.
No conservatory or utility room for me, so don't need to do that one and no uniforms to wash either.
Washing done, clean clothes put away, post dealt with, kitchen tidied and worktops wiped, dishwasher loaded, clothes sorted out for tomorrow.
Off for a bath shortly so will give the bath and sink a quick wipe afterwards.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
finally! OH has left for work (i do like having the bed all to myself
)
and kids are fast asleep for a long time
despite having absolutly NO energy i managed to do a few things.
i changed all our beddings (2kids and ours) :T, kitchen is clean, d/w is loaded, t/d is on, washing is put away, sweeped all floors, toys are off the floor - so i am happy
weekend is always difficult for me to do some flying - OH is not very cooperative  (he thinks it's finally his weekend and can't be asked to look after the kids - while i try to do some things around the house! omg, or HIM cleaning something ) - during the week he is quite ok though!
but what about MY weekend :think:I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work0 -
evening all -can I start by saying that this is the first Friday in a long while that I haven't complained to OH that the house is a mess - he replied that it was looking good and what did he want me to do !!! (It's still got very many hot spots and rooms but I think that having a clean kitchen, living room and master bedroom has got him thinking for his jobs next week???)
Mumoftwo we joined about the same time and as well as your sister I can't wait until I have friends next week (I have a friend who is very houseproud and over the years has made friendly comments about the state of my house) she is due for coffee on Tuesday and I can't wait.
One question where do people buy their Mirofibre cloths I can't find them in my local supermarkets?0 -
jjef Tescos have them in the value range now 3 for 89p I believe it is (where the other cloths are in my local store) ASDA I think I paid 88p for 1, that was from online grocery shop. I've had them from £1 shops before aswell. If you have no lucky finding them let me know and I'll send you some after I next go to Tescos
Well I have read some of my OU paperwork, which is a start, I'm taking some to bed as DP is working late as usual. One day I might be more organised...........

Today is the day for preparation. Clothes uniforms etc ready for Monday and lunchboxes washed.
No serious jobs today as it's the weekend! Just tidy any hotspots and run the hoover round the ground floor.
Catch up with any jobs left over from the week.
Remember daily and nightime routines.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
