Well yesterdays list was a bit daunting,,, the kitchen .oh dear.
BUT i was dead pleased with myself,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i did both the ovens ( Double oven so double wammy) but i found THREE lots of oven cleaner under the sink , and had them so long i don,t remember buying any of them :o
anyway ,did those , also the microwave inside and out ,cupboards etc, only thing that got left was the kitchen floor in there.............have a good reason . had to leave half way through flying to go to Durham with DH,about 300 mile round trip for us,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,didnt want to miss out on an "outing" so the floor had to go :rotfl: did most of the bathroom , but finished it when we got home ( about midnight) actually WANTED to do it .........
but the floor got left in there too . ( Oh and the fridge too , but i did it a couple of weeks ago ) so am going to do that today ...........looking at Moggins list ive been let off light today as both kids are adults, and like to do thier own rooms.....DS is needing the skip in his room tho , one day we wont be able to find him for years now weve called his room .
the Bermuda Triangle ,because everything goes in ,,,,,,,,,,,,and nothing comes out
so i can catch up with stuff i missed yesterday .( Bathroom floor is already done )
done lots of other usual stuff,
made stew & dumplings for tea
    walked the dog
made the bed ( did the bedding 2 days ago )
hoovered all through the house . ( done the stairs )
a couple of loads of washing , and dried most of it ( GOT to iron soon )
    plus tons of everything else.
the house is looking better already,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Jobs for tomorrow -
Dailies - WM,DW, Bathroom SS,Kitchen SS, Ironing, and put washing away
Others - Cooker clean, DD1 bedroom
    Hotspot - ledge in kitchen
Nightimes - clothes out, dishes out for breakfast, flush kids loo and check on living room.

Today didn't go quite as planned as DD1 was up at one with earache and didn't really settle so off to the doctors this morning, she has been a bit better this afternoon but I haven't managed to get much done today - managed dailies and the cooker shelves are soaking in the bath I am hoping to tackle the hot spot in the kitchen was they are both in bed.

Hope others have had better days ( I have not even managed to read all the posts)

Jen I sympathise, I have really bad ear ache decided to descend on me about lunchtime.. coupled with my stomach ache and headache and my RSI is really bad today, too much typing due to ebay listing. I am also freezing and tired!

Back from school.. I collected 2.. in the rain.. posted a parcel brought them home for a wee went back out in the sleet for the other 3.. stood outside in the freezing cold for 10 minutes.. had to literally drag my 7 year old out of school and all the way home.. in the rain again.

    I hate Wednesdays!

DS3 is now in pj's and if he does one more thing he is going to bed.

I have to feed everyone.. and tongiht DH can go to hell I am NOT waiting for him to come home to eat.. he hasn't been home before 7pm all week.. by which time I am putting the children in bed.

I am getting uniforms out sper early.. while dinner is cooking and I am going to bed super early myself! I'm absolutley shattered all the time.. maybe one very early night will do me a favour.

    Wow, everyone's been busy again!

Placement visit a bit disappointing, as no-one seemed to be expecting me, or have any idea what to do with me! (And yes, they were sent information, but no idea what happened to that). I only stayed an hour, and I was supposed to be there all day!

On the plus side, I had time to do the weekly shop in the afternoon, and have a more relaxing evening. Off to cook in a minute.

Sainsbury's don't appear to stock Borax, but I'll keep hunting now. (Feeling guilty!)

You can get 300G packs of borax in Wilkinson's, I got some last week. Then last night I found a thread condemning them for their awful business practices and exploitation, felt too guilty to read it there and then.....:o
