Well I've spent a good 15 mins+ on the phone to the council and then the police this morning about the bl*ody dog thats allowed to run free in our alleyway  Plus side is that I've managed to get an alleygate key from a neighbour and there's no rush for her to get it back
Means I can get down there hopefully once the dogs gone and clear all the dead leaves and rubbish that are piling up against the house which are probably contributing to the damp
Also :- Re-made DD's bed as the quilt was all bunch up under the covers :rotfl: At least she had a go! :j
- Hung washing from yesterday out
- Hung towels from todays wash out
- Talked to a neighbour for about 30 minutes or more
It was about the dog and another neighbour (other problems but I won't go into them) - Made our bed
- Repacked some reduced meat I bought yesterday from the co-op

- Put the dry dishes away from last nights washing up
I've decided to do just OH's (1 years worth) and then I'll go and do the washing up a

That's awful Hazzie, hope you manage to get someone to remove the leaves for you incase there is anything lurking.
Afraid i'm not doing any housework today. Just found out my son needs an operation on both his thumbs so i'm having a study day so I don't have time to think. I know it's only minor but he's been through 6 eye ops when he was younger and he's only 6 now so i'm just beating myself up as you do. I know it's a congenital thing but I still feel so guilty and wish it was me who had to have it done. Sorry to winge but feeling a bit down today.
PS he's gone to school showing everyone his magic thumbs and doesn't care two hoots about it so at least he's not bothered!January budget

Thanks to all other posters,I`ve phoned the council about the leaves and it can take up to SIX weeks before someone can come out and move them.So I`m gunna do it myself tomorrow weather permitting.
Phoned the community wardens who are suppost to be coming out today to have a look at the area.Never said if they find anything them will move it?
So I think it`s just me and about a hundred pairs of gloves and a shovel to do the job myself.
On a brighter note I`ve done so far;
Changed all bedding.
Collected one bin bag full of old noisey toys and scraps of paper.
Put load of clothes on Rads.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -

LJD1 aren't kids resilient! Don't look at it as whinging more as sharing a worry

Well I haven't done any of today's list Moggins but I have done 3 loads of washing and drying, ironed 2 lots (still to put it away) soaked the oven racks once and put them back in the bath for another go! Erm and that's about it so far.
Got to go shopping this pm, Stardrops and white vinegar at the top of the list.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang

:mad::mad: I hate Red Tape!:mad::mad: The police have been out and ATM they can't do anything other than try and contact the owner about taking better care of the dog  One of them advised me to contact my local councilor so thanks to the wonder of the internet I have drafted an email to all 3 local councilors for our ward
I'm just going to leave it until OH comes home so I can run the email past him and maybe even get a photograph of the poor animal to include. I'm not putting up with it anymore. If nothing comes of me contacting the councilors then I'm going to the local radio station AND local papers
I've had enough. RSPCA, dog warden and now the police all saying their hands are tied...I'm going to kick up such a stink if that dog hasn't been taken away by the end of the month that Aussielass will be a able to smell it
*insert Evil smilie*
Anyways I've managed another 2 loads of washing (takes care of the new underwear I bought myself yesterday
) and I've almost finished OH's bank statements. Need to get some more lunch though as my stomach is growling and I'm freezing again
I wonder whether I'll achieve any of moggins list apart from dailies

moggins wrote:p.s. for those with kids over the age of 5! Make them take their own washing upstairs. Every evening I stand in the dining room with assorted piles of clothes. I shout someones name and when they come running I hand them a pile of clothes and point in the general direction of upstairs. My knees don't do repeated walks upstairs

I do that too! But then how do you avoid having to reorganise their wardrobes every day? Most of my kids will just take the neatly folded pile upstairs, open the wardrobe door, shove the pile in, and shut the door again as quickly as they can! Many hours of folding and ironing have gone to waste by my kids just shoving their clothes into any space they can find!

Nicki.. your dailies are more than most here do in a week.. myself included! chill!! I hope you get something sorted with the dog too.. I don't like dogs but I hate to see anything suffering.. poor thing.
I've had my lunch & fed shortcake.. taken delivery of my tesco shopping.. grand total.. £13.37!!! not bad considering I order £95 of food! Freezer is looking healthier now.. we actually have some variety in there.
Freecycled stuff has been collected already.. now that's what I call efficient!! Uncle is coming soon to colect his new moped.
I have cleared some more rubbish of the landing, the bathroom is twinkling, the fridge is cleaned out so my new food could to in. I even cleaned the potty's.
Now to make a start on the kitchen.. I'll go brandish a brush!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
well its the second day of flying round the house. Yesterday did all the jobs on list, and hours worth of ironing even the oven and cleaned the grout in the kitchen, well pleased though my hands are so sore from cuts etc and the vinegar does not help !!! (not moaning cos Im happy its all clean). Today is a different story called in Dads to see if he is well , and went for a walk with him for 4 miles by the canal, wonderful but now to tired to start doing jobs, etc etc. Picking boys up soon from school, and no tea made.
I work for the next 3 days so how do you fit in daily cleaning and moggins list, into the day. Also i want to start cooking/baking (to save money and getting fed up of children and myself eating processed foods) from scratch again but my days seem so busy cleaning up. Any advice
Thanks Tracey0
