    Morning all

Day one of a tidier house, well the start of at least! Just a quick question, now on earth do you shine a brown plastic sink??????????

I gave it a good clean out yesterday after having a go at the oven but I don't think it will ever 'shine' like a stainless steel one.

Right off to get DD (aged 7) and DS (who will be 4 next week) ready and off to school.

Hello Newbies:hello: and welcome, this thread will change your life (for the better!!)

    Todays plans

Moggins list - this is really good as I wanted to clean the kids bedroom carpets anyway (and top of landing while up there)

    Hoover stairs

    Dailies

    so far have done-

    Put last nights ironing away
    Made pack-lunch
    Swished & Swiped Kitchen
    Shine that sink
    Hoovered downstairs
    BM on
    No washing today:p basket empty
Air beds (will make on return from nursery)

    To do
Iron washing on airer - not all dry yet
    Quick dust in lounge
    Swish and swipe bathroom
Clean upstairs loo (tend to do all upstairs jobs at same time)

Well best get kids wrapped up as woke up to snow this morning and better allow longer for DD's to walk to playschool in the snow as I am sure DD2 will want to walk rather than the buggy and it takes foreverrrrrrrrrr:rolleyes:

Need to keep on top of everything this week as FTB coming back for second look (so fingers crossed) but as I work at the weekend mean DH will have to ensure kids dont trash the place Saturday morning.

Will update later - Happy flying everyone:j

    hiya!

how do I join this group? and is this list just part of the replies here or something else|?

My house is now needing some serious help as I have sacked my cleaner who was just doing a surface clean which I could do anyway, and costing me a fortune!

Am in the middle of a loft conversion, so may just be taking small jumps instead of flying! Need serious help though!

Come on Madam!! No more of this attitude :D You bother because it is important to you and you want life to be a little less stressful. And you know it will be when you've got that house sorted. Just hang on in there and you will see it all coming together.

Today we are on to the childrens bedrooms again so pigpen you will love me for this one. .. I do.. I revac'd them all yesterday while finishing off the landing so they are fine.. just a few bits to pick up in the little girly room.. mainly toys but a few bits of laundry. I went in DS1's room yesterday and there were 2 pairs of humming socks on his desk!!! He is gross!!

Wash bedding, run hoover round dust bookshelves and windowsills, wipe light switches and clean any mucky marks off doors and door frames. that was done at the weekend so doesn't need doing, though anything obvious I'll attack

Hoover stairs from top to bottom, no excuses ladies, either use an extension cord or plug it in again at the top when the cord runs out! .. did that yesterday too

Do dailies and nightime routines. .. *blah some more!*

P.s. moggins philosophies are that people with syndromes just need to work harder, ask my son if you don't believe me I have 'selective hearing/reading syndrome too and the ability to block from my vision anything I do not wish to see!

    My list

    [STRIKE]WM[/STRIKE] loads 5 & 6 are in now
    [STRIKE]TD
    DW
    BM
Fold [/STRIKE]and put away clean stuff.
Tidy front room properly seeing as I have done todays list and didn't do it yesterday!
sweep kitchen.. or coax 2 flocks of starlings into eat the crumbs.
[STRIKE]Wipe inside of smelly fridge[/STRIKE] and get rid of that brown dribble down the side whatever it is (I dread to think!!)
phone calls.. KIDS, Barclays, [STRIKE]school[/STRIKE], GP.
    [STRIKE]post parcel[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]list the rest of the ebay stuff [/STRIKE](19 left to do) fling
[STRIKE]List carp on freecycle.. 3 lumps [/STRIKE] fling! .. all has 'takers' already 1 item has gone

    Morning all

I've been lurking for a while and don't think I'll be able to post regularly as i return to work next week but I have been attempting to 'fly' for a while now. Some days better than others. I do find it difficult to keep on top of things when I work all day and come home shattered.
Today anyway its off later to pick up something I have got through freecycle and to do some fruit and veg shopping. Then its back home to wash bedding and tackle some hot spots.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
