  • purplemoon - don't take this the wrong way, but i think Rach is right that you should just jump right in at the day we are on. That is the whole point of flylady that you are not ever behind regardless of where you start. It's the perfectionism in you wanting to do it, but you don't have to.

If you still want to find the old posts, i bookmark the thread to my favourites each time i visit it, and it takes me straight back to the last one i read. If i'm in a rush, i just scroll down the page till i see moggins blue text. If you just want to find moggins posts, try clicking on her profile and you will see an option to look at her posts, and you can then see which ones are on the FL thread. Admittedly not all of them are the tasks, but she generally posts in the evening at 10 ish of that is any use. ;)

In terms of my flying - i took my sister to hobbycraft to buy things needed to make her wedding cards which took up most of the morning. (also got myself some knitting needles, a book and cheap wool to relearn how to knit). I then had a nurses appointment, so i'm now feeling a bit sore and sorry for myself. I've let the baby fall asleep on my knee, which is a good excuse for a cuddle and not do anything but surf on here. :D

I did do the hoovering yesterday and everywhere looks ok. I could probably do with dusting if i get round to it. I will do the rest of the dailies though, i promise.

I made a very good start to the day: school run, filled up with petrol, did top-up shop, home, washing up, two loads of washing, beds made, thermos made, vacuumed sittingroom, and left for work at 10.10!:D

This afternoon, after lightning lunch, downtown to transfer money around, also stocked up in Boots, and bought duvet for DD in M&S, and £6 cheaper than marked, yay!

And then sat here with cup of tea, and really don't feel like doing anything else on the list. Maybe I'll have more energy after dinner which I now have to cook!

Hmmmm silly vet I rang last week said bath her a lot, I thought well won't that remove the oils in her coat, I did it once and I think it's made it worse. I'll try the oils, and brushing (she bites me when I brush her little tike!) have some somewhere, thanks :)

That vet sounds a bit daft. I'd go along with the adding oils to her food. I do the same with my son when he gets dry skin!

Which oils do you add to your son's food? Our 6 year old has excema and i've managed to keep it at bay with creams and stuff and avoided hydrocortizone (sp?) cream but today the doctor says he needs it. Just wondered if an oil suppliment might help.

I finished Moggin's list and now I have a math's lesson at school as they're going to show us how best we can help our children at home. I'm hoping it isn't going to be to difficult but then he is only 6!

P.s. re the finding the Daily Task. I was hoping that no one could miss it now I've mastered the large coloured writing :( I do agree though that editing the original post is not the way to go because there are some people who like to roll tasks over but what I can do is place the post number at the top of the first post and edit that every day
Sorry moggins, didn't mean to add to your stress :o

I hadn't actually realised when I posted that you'd started highlighting the tasks in blue to make them easier to find, been too busy to look in lately, but I've found them now thanks :A so don't worry about editing the first post unless anyone else specifically asks about it as I'm happy to stick with what you're doing already :D

Just wanna say a huge thanks to you too for doing all this for everything, it's much appreciated :T :A

ETA: cha97michelle you are so right lol I can be a bit of a perfectionist which is why I never get anything done cos unless I can do it perfectly I just don't bother at all :rotfl: thanks for talking sense to me :D

I second that - Thanks Moggins. I've nominated you for post of the month for helping me to get my house in order.

Know what you mean about being a perfectionist. I used to vacuum for hours at a time and never get anything else done. This thread has shown me the error of my ways!!!

  • re eczema - have you thought about seeing food intolerance person - my friend did and she doesn't eat particular foods and its much improved. I have done it with catahr (sp???) and a few other things and it works - also getting pregnant!! might be something worth investigating - places like holland and barrat do it and maybe neals yard if yu have them

moggins - as a teacher i am always sympathetic to too much talking being someone who always got into trouble for it at school and work! :rotfl:
  • how do i nominate for post of the month?? allicouldwishfor - great idea- my house has NEVER looked like this for a prolonged period
