lil_me - your puppy is growing so fast!!!!!

Well, doing really well with my flying today, found loads of cobwebs in the hall (and behind the radiator) so they are now long gone!!!! Bathroom, toilets, kitchen and living room all lovely and clean, and i even managed to finish one of the drawers in the kitchen - yea me!!!. Just one more to go, and i might tackle that one when i get home from the school run, when my two can keep an eye on the little ones for me.
Just need to fold up the washing, make dinner (clear that up) and hoover through, put all that is for later, so happy days!!!!
Going to keep on making the packed lunches the night before as well, really enjoying this flying business now ive got on top of it all - my friends will be surprised soon, i normally have piles of things everywhere, and although not all gone yet, ive made loads of progress!!!

Yes she is cat, she's 8.3kg now, was under 5kg when we got her, she's a little minx tho! Thankfully she can go out this week which might get rid of some of her everlasting energy, it's like having a toddler again :rotfl:

Well I stupidly have added to the list, sat here while floor was drying so decided to tackle the desk, so that is now clear and I can see the screen without looking past anything :) and even after airing the room the smell was here, it was the sleeping bag, only ever used for drunken people sleeping over, so decided to wash that, which has to be tumble dried so have cleaned the drier aswell inc the condenser. Sat having soem lunch now, I forgot, didn't realise what time it was and have to pick the kids up soon!

Nickibabe hope you are feeling better soon, we all have off days.
One day I might be more organised...........

I've dusted and vacuumed right through downstairs. Done a machine load of washing and handwashed that jumper of my daughter's again. In an hour's time when the heating comes on I'll put it on a radiator, it's been dripping on the line all day so it should be safe by then.

Just cut back the buddleia bush in the garden. Must have been planted by a bird because it appeared a couple of years ago. I really like it but I don't want it to get huge like they sometimes do so I cut it right back in winter. Did it last year and it came back really well so hopefully the same thing will happen this year. Even had one of those humming bird hawkmoths on it last summer.

in terms of the thread thing, i've found it much easier to follow since moggins started using the big blue font for daily tasks. personally i'd rather not have all the tasks at the beginning, i think the best thing with flylady is that if you don't do everything one day its best not to play catch up but to do the next day's tasks. each room comes round regularly anyway.

haven;t done anything this am, except (finally) put bday cards up! it's my day off so have been shopping with best mate - got a shedload of bargains from boots - 75% off now on! so basically have sorted everyone's bday prezzies for the year!! :D

Okay all, how are we doing today?

What a day that was. I was at DS's school for over an hour, basically he just talks too much! I've told him that now the nights are getting lighter he can start getting himself home from school if he gets a detention. DD decided to ignore me and run away from me after school causing me to scream at her like a fishwife as she was heading towards the road and she ended up with a smack on her bottom.

Still, onwards and upwards. I still haven't hoovered or dusted the living room but I'll do that in a little while, just have to cook omlettes for DD and DS first. Try and fit in some more housework, get DD to bed. Drive DS to band practice, home and make sure everything is ready for the morning and then drive to band practice and pick DS up again. DH has already headed up to bed, I'm hoping he might wake early enough in the morning to take DD to school for me. I need to head into town to pick up some new tea towels.

P.s. re the finding the Daily Task. I was hoping that no one could miss it now I've mastered the large coloured writing :( I do agree though that editing the original post is not the way to go because there are some people who like to roll tasks over but what I can do is place the post number at the top of the first post and edit that every day

I finally did that kitchen floor and finished the washing up except for the mixingbowl from yesterday which is soaking as the bread dough has stuck to it...so much for OH washing up this morning  Also slung another load of washing in the machine but it finished too late for me to put out, so I'll fold it up and put it on hangers etc later.

Left on the list now :
    1. Evening meal - HM chicken pie with something... going to make it in a minute.
    2. Clothing repairs - will do while watching Num3ers tonight. ;)
    3. Scan bank statements - tomorrows job while I wait for my Bookpeople order to arrive...can't track it ATM
    Also forgot to add :
    • Set up new Money file. Didn't get around to doing this the other day... need OH's help
Right..off to make the chicken pie when I've caught up on todays general thread. See you all later/tomorrow
