Dailies are the things you need to do daily like washing up, preparing meals, laundry, making beds, getting dressed etc.

Night time routines are things like preparing lunches for the next day, sorting out clothes to wear so you are all prepared, tidying kitchen and living room before you go to bed.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

  • Hi everyone, I noticed this thread over the weekend, and would love to join in. Tonight I got in from work about 6.15pm. After dinner I started on the living room, I haven't done so much cleaning on a Monday night for a long time. It did feel good, getting it done though. I've no dining room, so tomorrow I'll do the hallway and stairs as didnt get round to that tonight. x

Snap I'm out all morning too, sons appointments and assesments, again! So pleased no dining room, will do bathroom and the rest when I get back (and play catch up on missed jobs, will post full list tomorrow as usual. Didn't do too bad today but then with swimming tonight I'm shattered.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Well the bathroom won't take long, it's cleaned every night before i go to bed!

Pity it's the dining room tomorrow, that's our most disorganised room, and I've been roped into helping at DDs pre-school tomorrow morning so that's 3 hours gone already! I'm sure I can get it done in the afternoon though before picking up DS from school.

welcome angelite, and well done for getting stuck in :)

    how i've done today:
    moggins list:
Back to the living room this morning.
Hoover dust, polish, clear any living room hotspots
    .
Check sofas for any stains that could be tackled with some Stardrops.
If you have a magazine rack then sort through it and get rid of any not needed anymore. i actually chucked it out - one less thing to clear!
Clean television screen (a tumble dryer sheet works wonders for cutting down the static),
dust lightfitting. - can't reach! and its fabric!

Hoover hallway and check for cobwebs, remove any clutter in living room and hallway and place it where it belongs.

Grab a basket and shift anything sitting on those stairs waiting to be taken up.still neat from last week!

    Plus do dailies
    27 fling boogie
    tackle hotspots
    nighttime routines

    my list:
    fix stair carpet
    make soup
    rubbish out
    plan assembly for work tues
    freecycle emails
    water plants

    thank you letters
    phone landlord
stuff to oxfam from boot of car!

that's long enough for now, will post tomorrow's list in the morning. no dining room in this flat :D will keep on with tackling study/ office instead!

    nanight all x

  • Well, my first day as a Fly Lady in!!
Sitting room is spotless.....something that has NEVER been achieved since i started working evenings!
Didnt get round to hall and stairs today, but i dont have a dining room so will do that tommorrow!
Bedding is all washed, dried and back on
I have the shiniest sink in town!!!
DD brought home the charity bags from school, so will get started in the morning! Its called "bags 2 school".....anyone else heard of it? The school gets 20p for every kilo of junk, erm, chartitable donations :D
Been to Tesco and done the weekly shop

Oh and did i mention i have the shiniest sink in town?!
I really cant believe the difference a clean sink makes to the kitchen! We normally have dishes, tea towels, ashtrays, cleaning stuff etc. all over.....today its tidy :T

Which oils do you add to your son's food?

    Udo's oil normally,
    http://www.udoschoice.co.uk/default.htm
although at the moment we're using Barlean's Organic Oils Omega Twin. If you're going to get it I'd recommend the oil rather than the capsules. I mix it in with DS's yogurt or put a spoonful over his pasta.

I don't do it all the time, he doesn't have eczema or anything (although Udo's is said to improve eczema), he just goes all flakey!

  • been at work all day. Had visitors tonight so not much flying done today. But OMG what a pleasure not having to rush home and clean up for said visitors as place was still tidy and also had a huge dish of macaroni that I had made and froze last week so dinner was ready in no time. Had bread cooking when they came in and they were salivating with the smell lol. Loving this tidy mallarkey. xx:j
