Smiley t.............Wow 2 dogs,2 duvets, god how cold is your house ?......its been 20 degrees here today and sunny and thats outside:D................

It's not that cold, but for some reason I was freezing. I'm still only on one duvet at night. But it has been cool here today. Are you down south?
    :D I'm ready and willing. :p;):D.

Such lovely support we get on here from each other ..... :rotfl:

Tess is begging me for a game. She keeps jumping on the chair and licking my nose. I had better go and do as I am told and throw her squeaky ball. Or we might put on the Etta James CD and dance around a bit :rotfl:

This is my first read of this thread, but certainly won't be my last. I'm really touched by the spirit and support of you all to each other. Hopefully I will have something positive to contribute at some point, but for now you have cheered up my day x

My Kick up the bum was to motivate you to do something useful not dance with your dog to Etta James. :rotfl::naughty:

Aye dismal wet day here too, not cold but everything feels damp. Had to make myself some hot blackcurrant cordial to cheer myself up.

Yes Taurus, hunny, I agree, come and have a good old moan on here, I have experience of what you had with OH, he has been rushed in a few times in terrible pain. The weetabix cake Nualabuala mentioned is an excellent laxative as I found out :o

Smileyt sending you a virtual hug, it sounds like you need it.

Im wondering why so many of us are lacking our mojo this week? But I guess after the news has been on and you look at the prices in the shops etc its enough to cheese anyone off. So we need something to perk us all up and get us O/S'ing again - new superduper recipe anyone? magic wand?

I bought my Dd a pair of short wellies today from Mr T, they look like biker boots complete with a strap and studs - I really really wanted them but she cannot wear normal length wellies without them hurting her calves. They were the last pair in the shop and we really cannot go on sharing a pair, it was ok when she lived here but it got a bit silly last year - we had to work out a wellie timetable :rotfl:

  • Has anyone ended up with several sizes of clothes in their wardrobe due to fluctuating weight over the years?

I'm 3 stones down now for 2 years and appear to have a psychological need to hang onto stuff ' just in case'!.... Have stored a lot of stuff I can recycle for craft purposes but was horrified when a rail in my wardrobe collapsed tonight with the amount of clothes I've still got in my drawers and wardrobe.

In spite of the tough times ahead & the wish to store as much of any commodity as necessary it does feel rather uncharitable of me not to take any excess up to the local Hospice shop.

I've observed over the time I've bought stuff in the charity shops for my craftwork that the larger sizes seem to be be quite sparse.

Are there any plus size ladies out there who despair of finding their size clothes in the Charity shops?

I feel I need a virtual kick up the backside to get started on this!

Start my embroidery class again tomorrow morning and it can easily turn into yet another recycling venture. The potential space that a major wardrobe declutter would release would probably ' clear my headspace' as my late brother used to say.
    Any thoughts Ladies?
