Just dropping in briefly til tomorrow but feeling so sorry that you suffer so badly. Really hope it gets better, soonest.

Have a dodgy group hug on me and feel free to moan; we all need somewhere to let it out.

Taurusgb, hugs and fingers crossed for tomorrow. Would a warm bath help ease the pain?

I have been asleep for most of the day. I was freezing. So I took the dogs up to bed with me, lay on top of the duvet with another quilt over me, and had Tess mostly under the quilt with me as a doggy hot water bottle. Bruno curled up by my feet. We slept all snuggled up and it was a good way of getting warm again :rotfl:I think I needed the emotional comfort as well as the physical warming of a dog snuggle. For some reason I find it easy to drop off to sleep with them during the day, but at night they are not allowed on the bed because I find they disturb my sleep.

No more OS stuff to mention today, but I could do with a kick up the backside :rotfl:Any offers?:rotfl:

Hugs to those having tough times.

    :D I'm ready and willing. :p;):D

Taurus I am so sorry you're suffering. :( Take it easy pet. x
Well done to your DS Culpepper.
Mrs Chip we season the logs first before splitting as they are easier to split once dry we find. I know others find it dries quiker if it is split fist though so whichever way you decide will be fine as long as you're not in a hurry to use it.

Went foraging today and if it's true that Mother Nature produces a bumper crop of fruit in preparation for a harsh winter then by God we're in for a tough one. Most of our brambles aren't ripe yet but those that are are whoppers and the sloes are the best I've ever seen them.
Have bramble and elderberry jelly on the go and a bramble and apple crumble for pud tonight. Because I'm doing a pud I can get away with a smaller dinner of cauli cheese, crispy bacon, crusty bread and salald from the garden. ;):money:

Must get my knitting out again tonight and crack on with the Christmas presents.

James Madden of Exactaweather is forecasting exactly that

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2039418/UK-weather-Snow-forecast-parts-Britain-early-October.html

You've got to laugh at the way the papers talk as if it's going to be like the Day After Tomorrow - and all over the country at that! However if you live outside the South it looks as if it might be a good idea to buy a snow shovel before you can't get them for love or money.

I haven't seen what Piers Corbyn of Weatheraction has to say about the forthcoming winter. It will be interesting to see when he publishes his forecast
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

....and best wishes from me as well that this is soon resolved and you feel better.

That looks like my sorta blog - so I've duly sent a link over to one of mine for a good ole study of it and pick up what new ideas I can. No wonders I sometimes get asked "Whats that you're eating?" when peeps see some of the strange concoctions I sometimes have. Waste not...want not...and I'm also still trying out new-to-me foods at a rate of knots - so I know what they're like...:). That reminds me - better look up to see if a couple of things I've picked are what I think they are....

Remember this too shall pass, but in the meantime it's well Ok to moan, helps to get it off your chest and speeds recovery in my humble opinion.

I thought you might like it - I've picked up a lot of great links for similar from you already! I just had a quick look at it and the recipe that caught my eye was making your own veggie stock powder from veg peelings. I'll add it to mental list of things I want to do (but hardly ever get round to doing!)
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
