Park resorts seem a bit cheaper than Haven - don't know what they're like though. About £450 for 7 nights at end of July at the Borth one in Wales. Thinking of booking this for next summer.

Park Resorts were former Haven sites

Have been there twice last year-we have a tourer. Great site, only small but very nice. Swimming pool on small side would imagine very crowded in high season. Touring site is ok usual shower and toilet blocks very close to main site. Main problem we had was when it rained the ground had no drainage so was like a mud bath and didnt clear all week. We did have a great time tho. Is great base for exploring lakes. Any questions at all feel free to p.m. me

Haven Lakeland seems to be favourite, any other sites recommended? (nice location, close to countryside or sea?)

I've always used my tesco vouchers for a free holiday every year with the kids ,but you can't have a half price holiday with them.
