My family and I go to Presthaven Sands in Wales each year. It is a Haven Holiday camp with LOADS to do for the kids.
We never book through Haven, instead we buy the LOOT late January, early February and book privately. We usually go first week of the 6 weeks hols and last year paid just £400 for a 7 night break in a brand new caravan on a brand new part of the site.
Buy the LOOT and check out the caravans, compare the prices and decide. Haven's own caravans aren't all they are cracked up to be IMO.

Scottish and English school hols are different. For me, going to the lakes in early July, English kids still at school, is about £300 cheaper than the same a month later. Might work for English coming north at the end of August when most Scottish kids are back at school.0

We always go to presthaven sands....and the site is 1st class...last year we decided to try hafen y mor for a change.......Big mistake, far to many caravans and chalets for the site.....and also one of the complexes had its roof blown off by bad weather so they had to close that.......so you can imagine the chaos with everyone trying to use so few facilitys..........And our accomadation was dirty......we lasted 3 days and came home.
I decided to send them an email telling them how it was....and to havens credit they sent us a credit note for £170.00
No this year i will stick to Presthaven sands....this is a 1st class site.0 -

Is the sun offer already started? missed today and will hopefully be able to catch up?

The Haven site @ Devon Cliffs is their Flagship site & worth paying for IMO.
Been their the last 2 years, last year we had the hottest week of the year & were in the outside pools every day :-)"I took her to a supermarket,I don't know why but I had to start it somewhere" :cool:0 -
Be prepared for Devon Cliffs its very hilly and can be a very long walk from caravan to the main facilities, worth noting of you have a wheelchair or not good on your feet, also low barriers about 2ft high near the edge of the cliff near the beachcomber pub so be very careful with kiddies its a long drop , and the beach is always full of seaweed.
Entertaiment is excellent tho

Depending on where u live agree that Devon Cliffs is fab, however one to avoid imho is Combe Haven.
