Probably too early for any updates, the road has only been open a few weeks.
Unless you are coming off it at an intermediate junction then it would be pretty easy to live without the update.0 -
ummm you havent seen me drive....only joking...Im always just a bit nervous about trying new unknown routes but shouldnt be too bad...Im guessing it will be signposted for the m77...0

Hi

I think this post might be better served on our Motoring Board. Members there are sure to keep up to date with these things; so I'll move your post across there for you.
Good luck

If you're looking to join the 77 then you can't actually go wrong - just keep going until your choices are Kilmarnock/Ayr or Glasgow airport. There are only a few new junctions and the new stretch of road ends at the M8/M77 junction anyway0

The new section is on the map but is not navigable, if you browse the map you will see sections without red borders. You need to do map corrections to open it to traffic. Hopefully it will be in the map update in August, you did buy the update service ?0

hi guys,
thanks for moving this:j
hi molerat, I somehow (not sure how tbh) managed to buy the western europe plus updates,.....all I wanted was the UK and updates. Although saying that the Europe map was actually cheaper than the UK???0 -
If you have the latest map it has been in for months but blocked as said above, just go to map corrections and unblock road. Takes 10 minutes but it is as simple as that.0

I've seen something on either the TomTom or Pocket GPS forum which said that the M74 update was withdrawn but should be available with the next quarterly release. The man without a signature.0

Thanks loads guys!!
I have only had the tom tom for 4 years and this is the first time I have heard of unblocking roads.
I am just waiting for the new memory card to arrive as the europe map is huge. then i will try unblocking it. I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks loads again!0
