m74 in updated sat nav maps?

I bought the latest map update from Tomtom specifically for this new stretch. I can only say that the map was better BEFORE the update!
It shows the extension but while driving along it constantly tells you to come off it at whatever the nearest junction is (the normally red route line has a different look which I'm assuming is indicating that it thinks the road isn't yet open).
Coming off at the Polmadie exit, about 1/2 a mile from my intended destination, I was then treated to a 45 minute tour as Tomtom tried to send me down one way streets the wrong way and down roads that clearly hadn't existed for some time.
Fortunately, I don't think I'll be heading back there again but to answer the OP don't bother with the latest update just yet."A nation of plenty so concerned with gain" - Isley Brothers - Harvest for the World0 -

That is exactly it. Go into map corrections, unblock every section of the road carefully and it will be fixed. You go into map corrections, there is a bit for blocking roads, zoom to M74, press on it, press unblock in the correct direction and permanent then ok. Repeat for all and it is done. It opened after the map update hence it is blocked.
Polmadie is a mess because the roads are being changed as part of a development and as part of the East End Regeneration Route construction. Hence they are still all wrong!0 -
you can edit/report maps defects to navteq using map reporter. and future maps are updated.0

For the last two years I have been travelling to England through a ploughed field according to Tomtom. The highways agency however prefer to call it the A1 (M). They do not seem to be too quick with their updates.0

I don't really want to pay for new maps for my TomTom anyway - so does anyone know if I can buy a (paper) map that's been updated with the new M74? Could do with a decent A-Z anyway because the sat nav is a constant source of annoyance.0

Wouldn't honestly bother - the road structuring at the junctions isn't toodifferent to what it was before and you are literally talking about 3 or 4 extra cut-offs. over a few miles0

Today I updated my TomTom and unbelievably the M74 is now on my Sat Nav. Well done TomTom. Now all you have to do is find the A1(M).0
