pls can i have some advice, never done an online shop
if i put its ok to substitute item if OOS can they substitute for a cheaper item and if so will they refund the difference?thankyou
does he refund the amount back onto your card then at the time?
also presuming it wouldn't affect your £20 off £40 then
also what about using coupons? does the driver take these? but how do they get deducted as you have already paid for the shopping
sorry and TIA
I have just had my delivery and there was about 4 substitutions and they were all in seperate blue bags. I had picked no bags to get the extra points, so they stood out. No idea how they come up with the substitutions though, but they were a lot better for me. I received a large mash instead of the small one and better gammon than the cheap one I picked. I think the one I picked was just over £1 and the one they sent was £2 and bigger.
I asked the driver if they took coupons and he said they did and he takes them back to the store and they then credit your account. If you received sustitutions and you did not want them then that amount is refunded as well and it would not affect your £20 discount.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Just recieved my order this evening. Picked the cheapest delivery time of 8-10pm, had a text earlier in the day saying they would be here between 8.25-9.25 and the guy was on my doorstep at 9.20...
Did choose on my order that no substitutions be made but all items were all present and correct - with the one exception when I ended up unpacking the bags I had a can of kidney beans which I found had been already opened and leaked everywhere but I guess for the 35p or so that they cost its probably not really worth complaining about.
All in all Im pretty happy as I shop at Tesco (instore) regularly and this has certainly saved me fair bit of money - £52 worth of stuff for £23 delivered, especially with the B1G2F on the cheese tooMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Okay just placed my order. It accepted my code even though I'm not a first time customer although it's been over a year since my first and only attempt. Hopefully they don't turn around and charge full price..0
