  • Quick update. We're on our 5th AGA. Quality has gone through the floor. For our latest, the engineers brought multiple copies of the same replacement component because they are so used to them being of low quality. The second one they tried was fit for purpose. Good engineers - thanks guys.

    New electric one is impractical. If you live at home - you can handle it. Working parents. Fine, leave it on all the time, because the oven warm up time will leave you eating late. We used an average families annual electrical budget in a month. We've turned it off. - expensive ornament, though the plates are rather heat resistant.
