I know the people involved with spectacle catwalk and can vouch that everything is professional....they do give value for money and use genuine products......
I wanted to have a look at the site because I'm in the market for new glasses but the pages flash all over the place and it's impossible to search for frames by type (plastic, rimless, mens', womens'). I'm using my work PC with it's old browser and I can't get the site to work at all.
With regards to the cost of spectacles, the 2 for 1 looks cheap until you want varifocals (as I do). I just bought a pair from Vision Express in central London. They had a 2 for 1 but the second pair had to come from a choice of about 10 frames and could only be single vision or readers. If I wanted sunglasses (not that they had any sunglass style frames in the 2 for 1 section) I'd have to pay for the tinting. Not quite 2 for 1 then...
Anyway, I bought the varifocals over a week agao (£250, went for the cheap as chips lenses) and when I chased them up today, apparently, they are sent to Thailand for glazing! No doubt saving £££

Hi,
I've received my ted baker glasses from spectacle cat walk.
They cost £75.95 including lenses anti glare, scratch resist, official case and cloth and postage.
The same make/model glasses in vision express, same lenses and coatings - £246!!! So, as you can see a massive saving.
I've just come back from an opticians in town who have used a machine to confirm the lens prescription in spot on!!!
I am very happy! I can't see a problem unless your measurements or prescription is wrong already!0 -
