    Morning

Beautiful day here again. Been up since silly o'clock. All of these tragedies were playing on my mind. May theri souls rest in peace and the angels comfort those left behind.

Kitchen blitzed, bolognaise now turning into chilli in crockpot, rubbish ready and laundry flapping around.

Finally sorted my nectar card out and amazed to find over £ 500 worth of points on there. Pretty annoyed to discover how many others would give points if I had shown my card!!!

    Off to do some work.

    Have fun.

Thanks for the reminder re The Help, JackieO - I wanted to read it a while ago and forgot. Have added it to my list to order from the library.
Haribo - hope you have a great birthday and that the sun is shining over your way.
Taplady - a happy belated birthday for yesterday.
Lou - I also get annoyed when a new pile silently appears in the washing basket. Also when I find a lone sock that has fallen out of my arms on the way through - am i the only one who doesn't take the laundry basket to the WM?
Dogs been round the park and will just get little walks later as it's a bit hot for the older one - she's very hairy mclairy:D
Such sadness around. Thinking of those affected and those left behind.

So So sad about Amy Winehouse. My favourite thing is to listen to Back to Black in the car, can't believe she will never bring out another album. RIP Amy

Well a lazy morning Chez Julie. I am still in my pj's but the house is clean,no washing to do and love chilling and watching something for the weekend:D

Lunch today will be leftover pork stir fried with cabbage and onions from the garden and hoi sin sauce. Will make into wraps, yumm nice and easy as well.

Might tackle the loft today and look for more things to sell on ebay. Managed to convince DH to price up the car and think about selling.

My DS1 has facebooked me to say they are off to Leon tomorrow and have had a fab time in Paris.

Reverbere Just wanted to say hope your feeling positive today, as others have said remember this is not a rehearsal. I have a friend who keeps a journal, she also struggles with her past and has started writing in it every night before she goes to sleep. She writes 5 positive things that have happened that day. It really seems to help her, Just an idea:)

Anyway have a good Sunday all J x

Well, having good OS day so far. Bedding & towels are on the line blowing around in the sunshine, and nearly dry already. Another wash is on (whites) and will also be line-dried as there is still lots of the day left. Had a trip to Aldi and got enough for the week's food plus loo rolls and laundry liquid for £30 including plenty of fresh fruit & veg. Also nipped into B&Q, which is close to Aldi and bought a pack of rocket seeds and some mixed lettuce seeds which I have planted and will cut as needed. Hopefully these will see me through the rest of the year for salads.

A big pot of carrot & courgette soup is just cooling, waiting to be whizzed up with the blender and I bought a tiger bread loaf to have it with for lunch. The soup will also be frozen into portion sizes for use during the week.

DH and DSS are at a cricket match, where DSS is playing and DS has just been picked up by XH to babysit his kids for the afternoon, so for now I am enjoying the peace & quiet.

    Happy days!

    Happy birthday Haribo :)

OS update - 2nd load done in WM. It's warm but not that windy out so think I'll save the bedding and towels to be washed in week instead, and bathroom cleaned.

Going to make my veggie Sunday dinner from various odds n ends in freezer and then watch the F1 :)
