Emailed my local MP and explained the situation. Saying that my main concern was that others may not have the strength or relevant information to do as I did. And because their Provident Agent already calls at there house on a weekly basis, they may feel pressured to take out further loans to pay off these debts, that they cannot afford. And that these debts, may well be statue barred and unenforceable.

I am not condoning not paying debt you owe, but to take on more un affordable debt, is just going to plunge already vulnerable people (including me) into a further state of despair and depression

I'll update, when and if I get a reply.
