Hi Pennywise, hope DH and DS had a good fishing trip. Has DH broke up from work yet? If so have you got anything nice planned?
Hope your bits and bobs on ebay sell. 85p away from the pureprofile payout! xMummytogirls x0 -
Good morning and we have sunshine :j:j, have a big basket of washing thats going to be hung out in a minute.
Dh is off work this week, arrived back from fishing trip on Sunday evening, DS hadn't wanted to come home he was having such a good time. Pleased to see them but could have done without all the washing etc they brought back with them, hubby is off work until Monday, i have to say he is starting to drive me mad though, why do men think that when they are on holiday they don't have to do a thing and yet when i'm on holiday i end up doing more as i try to catch up with all the things that need doing, I know he doesn't mean to be but sometimes he is a completely thoughtless G!T:mad:.
I can see me having a major melt down by the end of the week and totally losing my temper.
Monday we went to Lightwater Valley, paid for using Tesco clubcard points, was a good day out and we all had lots of fun, but didn't think it was any better than Camelot, so don't think we wil go again were as camelot is a half hour car journey away, light water was 2 hours.
On the money front looking ok but could be better, have made £3.24 on ebay and have withdrawn £5 from mysurv£y, leaving any more in paypal at the minute so i'm not tempted to spend it as its to go towards my tax disc at the end of the month. Still need £1.45 to reach payout on onepoll.
Spent £36 in lidl yesterday, bought lots of fruit and veg, i'm off to Sainsburys today as i recieved more vouchers in the post off them yesterday 4 x £12 off £60 spend, going to try and combine with £7 off £35 spend i recieved the other day and do a dry/tinned food shop and stock up a bit for winter.
Other jobs for today post ebay parcels and go to library, put some petrol in car.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Quick update.
Managed to spend £43 in Sainsburys yesterday, this was after all the money off coupons had been used, total should have come to £67, so not bad.
Today has been another spend day as i have been and bought DD school shoes, so they cost me £22 for clarkes outlet store.
managed to get to £40 on onepoll so have withdrawn £40 in paypal, its can take up to 28 days to recieve it though.
Tea tonight has been a very yummy roast pork dinner.
Right off to catch up on surveys.0 -
Hi Pennywise,
Well done on getting DD's shoes for £22 thats fab, I dont think we have an outlet store near us. I managed to get DD's from Clarks for £26 which wasnt bad at all.
Yay to onepoll paying out :j, roll on 28 days! xMummytogirls x0 -
Good morning.
Not really much to update, off out for lunch today as its hubbies GRT Aunties 80th birthday, so the clan is gathering, not really looking forward to it, as a couple of members of OH family can be b!tchy and stuck up and i really can't be doing with the we drive this car and go on holiday to such and such and have done everything bigger and better than anyone else, i will smile sweetly and sit quietly.
Hubby has just gone out to buy flowers for her, he was going to go to the local florists and buy a big bouquet, i have sent him to the local town market and told him to get 2 or 3 nice bunches and i would wrap them in pretty tissue paper and ribbons that i already have at home.
Cheap tea of Jkt spuds and beans tonight since we are having lunch out.
Got up early this morning and caught up with a load of surveys, find it hard to get on and do them when OH is around he seems to demand more attention than the children.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and don't forget its free listing on ebay, not that i have anything to ebay.0 -
Morning pennywise, hope the lunch out didnt go too badly yesterday. We had jacket pots for tea too!!
Good idea with the flowers too, very mse :money: xxMummytogirls x0 -

hi there pwps. Nice to see you back. Just read through your diary. Well done on getting things back under control a bit.
Thanks for telling about onepoll. I did have an account with them, but I thought they were a scam in the end. But as you have reached payout, I will see if I can reactivate it.
cheers
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

HI guys and thanks for posting.
Saturday was well, trying to think of a word, horrendous i think sums it up, all we drive this car and have just been to the caribean and have booked to go to xyz:mad:, but i gritted ny teeth smiled sweetly and said very little.
Yesterday we spent all day getting in logs from FIL's wood, hard work but worth it and we worked out after we had stacked both our woodsheds that if we had to pay for it it would have cost around £300, crazy sure at that price it would be cheaper to have CH on.
Today not much is happening except for housework and baking, trying to get all the laundry washed as its supposed to rain the rest of the week, so i can get it dried outside.
Will be a low spend today, just need to pay milkman later when he calls.
Hope everyone has a lovely day and the sun is shining were you are:D0 -
Hi there
A slow day for me too but a NSD and lord knows we need more of those. Brought lot of stuff back from allotment tho and will be sending kids back for raspberries and blackberries!
Now have a wood burner. It is lovely and absolutely thumps out the heat, but will need a cheap wood
supply. You have reminded me that I should talk to my dad, he is usually good for sourcing that kind of thing. Am hoping we can really cut down out gas this winter as it's normally sky high despite extra
jumpers etc.
Washing all on short wash and at 30. Also trying the tablespoon of powder only idea. Seems OK so far! Little things help!
Trying to get to bed early this eve. Up v early for work.
Hope you have a good day tomorrow PWPS
