Aspire money, Referred from Credit expert website
hello everyone.. i joined Credit experts site as a step towards sorting my credit rating out (i have the odd debt on it from silly things when i was younger and a CCJ from a disputed bill from an old workplace) my score is fairly low, in the 'poor' category and used the sites feature of checking to see who could be suitable to provide a loan based on my score.
im now being called by aspire money who tell me they can get me the loan i require, but seem intent on giving me a pre approved loan of £1050 over a year while they "complete my loan application" telling me that this will improve my score and overall chance of acceptance. This seems rather odd to me, especially as i have a hp agreement for tools and a recently settled car finance agreement both default free, is this just a scam to get me to take a low loan on a pretty bad APR rate by making me think i need it to get what i want
For the record i enquired for a 10k loan, mainly for a newer car purchase now the other finance has finished on current one, but also for a few home improvements, and baby on the way in november. I also have 2 defaulted accounts with debt collectors showing on my report, both of no more than a few hundred pounds and both of which i am making moves to clear with the relevant agencies... im a tenant living with my partner and am in a good situation financially otherwise,
so shall i steer clear of these people and sort my few loose ends before retrying? a small loan is of no use to me, or is there a genuine company who can help people in situations like me, i dont want to keep applying and mess my report up further, any advice greatly appreciated

Don't you just love Credit "Expert" for putting these blood sucking, bottom of the very last barrel parasites onto desperate people?
No doubt the Experian customer services bloke will be on here soon to defend this."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
lol... i guessed from their language that they assume your desperate for credit, im not, but its something i could use to good effect.. i know my options are limited with poorer credit however im certainly not going to pay massively over the odds because of it id rather go without.. they seem to ring me, try and sell me this smaller loan then when i say no i dont see the need or how id benefit they make excuses that their going to continue negotiating a loan for me and will be in touch within 24 hours, then i have the same conversation the next day.. despite these people i have to say the experian site has been massively helpful to me in working out whats what...0

It's enough to make a cat puke, Experian put people onto lenders who are far more likely to make their already poor credit rating even worse....beggers belief really.
These people should be choked on their own sh*t"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -

especially by telling me that by taking the small loan it will increase my chances and improve the credit rating, surely having an extra loan on your account will reduce your chances of taking a further one, due to an increased level of debt?0 -
In theory any form of credit, loan etc improves your credit rating so long as it's paid back on time and in full.
But, I would doubt many people who take loans from places like that have any intention of ever paying it back anyway..... a few will but I imagine the risk is huge hence the gargantuan apr, need for a co-signature etc etc"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
