Thanks so much for this. I have been following the GI diet since the Daily Mail had a week "special" on it. Applied for the GI diet wheel, but have never received it. I wanted a book that gave the Red, yellow and green foods to eat (which I believe this does) and kind of begrudged spending out the money when I had already applied for the Wheel from the Mail. I think it is an excellent diet - has been working for me so far. The whole aim is to keep blood sugar levels steady and to eat foods that stop you from feeling hungry. So, thanks to OP for this - really grateful.0

My husband and I did the "GI Point Diet" (now published as The GI Plan) by Azmina Govindji, Nina Puddefoot , which we found out about in the Daily Mail. There's a few "GI" diets around but we found this one the easiest as most of it is worked out for you. We each lost 2 stone and it didn't hurt at all. This doesn't use the traffic light system but these books are handy for a quick reference for helping to keep the weight off.:j0

This is great. Thanks OP. Did cosider purchasing from Tesco. Glad I didn't now. We (husband and me) been following the diet ever since the Daily Mail printed it and IT WORKS!!! Why do men lose weight more quickly than women? Only another 2 stone to go ..................... WATCH THIS SPACE!Jesus loves you:j Everybody else thinks you're an idiot:rolleyes:0

Thanks for the link! I'll look forward to the book arriving. Is it specific to Tesco foods? (I shop there quite a bit, and am diabetic so am meant to follow a GI diet to help control blood sugar levels better...will be very useful!)0
