Why do all the threads about PM investing get deleted and censored? This one is still here for now.

Probably because there are a few posters that get carried away and cannot see further than a ramp instead of having a discussion.

It beats me how anyone with a head can imagine that any poster on here can ramp a world precious metals market. I doubt if we could even successfully ramp a £5m spiv stock!

    I'm with you Edwardo.............it's a crying shame. :(

These threads are the most entertaining and comedic on this forum.

Especially the complete idiot who thinks no one realises he has about 14 different aliases on the go at any one time.

"Oh, you are so wonderful"....."Oh no...it's you who is always correct"..."Oh I love you smeggy".....

    Priceless :rotfl:

Perhaps a head would note that no claims were made as to either their success or their ability to know the difference

It's not about ramping as much as painting a picture that would mislead other forum users.
  • Martin doesnt want to take flak from FSA I expect. If he is seen to be promoting speculation to high street consumers its a problem

lvader do you still think this dip will go as low as $1500 again? Looks like that was it for the dip this time around, we will be over $1800 again soon.

I can see another dip when we get near to $1900, then after that a clear run to $2000 and beyond.

Is it possible that sovereign states may sell huge reserves of gold at the current high prices to help resolve debt issues. If so gold prices will crash and the stock market will probably go sky high.

It wasn't so much the attempts to 'manipulate' the world's pm's markets, for me it was more to do with their loutish behaviour.

Anyway, I don't want to put time and thought in to a discussion on a thread I've started, just to see some hoodlum(s) have it destroyed.
More to the point, rules are rules. As MSE is a privately owned business, what can you do...riot about it ????
    Like it or lump it.

    A reminder to all.

Thats the point, you are better off buying real gold and silver bullion and taking delivery. You have no ongoing costs.....
The reason for considering paper gold is for convenience. It seems a handy way to have a portion in say, an S&S ISA, and then with a few key strokes get hands on readies.

I'm guessing the only thing that naughty people want to keep off the radar is anything over inheritance tax allowances....but what would I know about such practices, aren't they illegal???

I'm guessing that a quick chat with an outfit like Hargreaves Lansdown is all I need to do. Thanks for all who have posted on gold ETF's that can be tax wrappered in UK.
Strange how the usual suspects have not given any advice on my question, you would have thought they would love to have shown off their capabilities.
Then again, an advisor who actually advises!...perish the thought.
