I was in the Chelmsford store on monday and saw these milk bags but there was no offer and no free milk jug.(think it was £1.98)

The offer wasn't marked up in either of my local Sainsbury's but went through the till as 2 for £1 plus the jug was free for me, and again at the other branch for a friend.

Love these! We get them all the time, we had just been using the bag on its own and cutting the corner off though for about 8 months cos the jug was far too expensive, so was suppper excited to see it FREE AND 2 for £1 on the bags this week! Such a great deal! We bought 4 bags, and another 2 last night. Didn't think of freezing them though....... think I may have to take another trip and buy a few more.
    I love Sainsburys! <3

I'll put my hands up and say I actually prefer them.

    Are you using them properly??
With the bag clipped in the jug??

I find these pour much better than a plastic bottle.
They take up the space of a 4 pint plastic bottle, which is the downside, hence why I would only pay 50p per bag. I can easily (at the minute get four pints for £1).
Off for some more very shortly.

  • My local Sainsburys actually gave these jugs away completely free (no purchase nessecary)... wasn't till I got home and tried to use one and milk leaked out the edge all over the side that I realised why!!!

Dunno if it was a faulty batch or what. You guys might have more luck! BUT, I would suggest checking they don't leak over the sink first!

I've used two different jugs now and my friend another. They have worked brilliantly. Are the people experiencing problems using them correctly? I did see that somebody just emptied the milk into the jug (on another forum or thread), and they are not designed to be used like that.

My friend and I have had no leaks, no drips.
