2 Milk Bags for £1 and free Jug - Sainsburys

That's a sham Ali. If you'd asked the checkout person if the bags went through for £1 you would have found they did. I just tried it and it worked. Didn't need a second jug
I'm assuming it's nationwide now0 -
Thanks for this OP. We got 2 jugs (and the 4 pouches of milk) in Sainsburys Braintree today. Was the last 2 jugs though.0

Got mine on Wednesday and loads in Peterborough. And they have also started doing all 4 milk types now so even better as they only had semi for a long time.
I now have a little collection of jugs as i've been using them a while. They are great i think but always remember to squeeze the milk packet at both ends before you put in your basket. There have been a few times where i trailed milk around sainsburys and then all over my trousers.....:beer:0 -
They've been doing all 4 types for a short while but most stores only had the semi-skimmed. Recently I noticed that more branches started to stock all 4 and branches that just sold semi-skimmed (why?!) at least sell whole milk. Clearly they've decided to make more of an effort across the board.0

This is a fab buy, I got my free jug today (with 2 packs of milk)and I think will get 1 more tomorrow! I wonder if the jug can be used for something else - will it be possible to pour in it some juice or may be store something. If you feel my post has been useful, " merci" would not go amiss.
A donde fueres, haz lo que vieres.0 -
No, the jugs don't work for juice, they just kind of spill it everywhere as they are actually designed to pour from the top capped bit not the spout. People on the T's thread sad about their leaky jugs!!!0

Does anyone know how long the offer is on for? Might not get to Sainsburys until Monday...0

I got some in Norwich sainsburys today. The jugs weren't out, so I asked, and the guy brought out a box. They only had full fat and the orange top we have started to use (halfway between skimmed and semi). So I got 3 jugs, and 6 milks, to give the other 2 to our parents, who are always slopping the milk out of big tubs.
We went to self serve, and it was valued at about £6.80, but at the end did go through for £3.
Thanks for the heads up!0
