2 Milk Bags for £1 and free Jug - Sainsburys
Comments
-
Just been into my local sainsburys and they have their 2pint milk bags for 85p each or 2 for £1, plus you get the jug (worth £1.98) free.
Not sure if this is national or not?
Did you mean your local 'big' Sainsburys or a 'Sainsburys Local'? I'm a 10 minute walk from a 'little' store but a 20 minute car ride from my 'big' store.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

I got 8 bags yessteray from a smallish store, but ended up with 4 jugs, lol. Im planning on freezing the bags, do they go out of shape when they thore out tho?0

You don't have to have a jug. It's two bags for £1, the jug is optional.
No organic one sadly but if sales are good they'll probably bring out an organic one.0 -
Well I've taken the plunge, and got a new jug....i've put the first bag in and it fitted, clipped and now pours perfectly, yet I did nothing different from last time.
Really pleassed, as love the way the jug feels to pour from!0 -

so you have to put the bag into the jug?

OH threw away the instructions that came with it  so I have poured the milk out of the bag and into the jug!!!
Probably explains why it all poured out over my worksurface this morning!!

Has anybody had any problems freezing this milk? As I drink very, very little milk I froze my second bag, but am wondering if it was the right thing to do. It's 100% skimmed milk and now it's frozen it looks bright yellow!0

as said previously no problems with freezing0

Yet i feel compelled to get one every time i buy them! I will need a special cupboard for Jugits soon....You don't have to have a jug. It's two bags for £1, the jug is optional.:beer:0 -
Been using these for almost 2 years now... ever since my local sainsburys were giving the jugs away free.
Really good replacement for normal milk containers.0 -
I'm so glad to have found this thread and got a jugit yesterday. They aren't advertising it in my store, however. The 2 bags for £1 is on the shelf edge, but nothing to tell anyone that you get the Jugit for free if you buy the milk.
I'm going to keep one for myself and toddle off to get another for my in-laws.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
