If I was a potential burglar, and I was browsing street view, if I came to the blank areas, my first thought would be, "What are these guys hiding?"
I like having street view of my flat. Had I known they were coming, I'd have mooned out of my balcony.0 -

I live on a main road and there's a huge gap where my place is. They haven't mapped it yet!Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Burglars are opportunists. Just don't leave windows open when you're out, obvious but you'd be surprised. Not everyone is in love with street view though, but there's no evidence to suggest it has contributed to crime stats.0 -

Nor do I, for whatever reason they wish.0 -

You sure someone hasn't requested for it to be removed. As far as I am aware the UK has been pretty much mapped now. If both sides of your house i,e further up the street is mapped than I would definitely say someone has requested for it to be removed.
I think google should block people from using the service of streetview and maps if they want their house removed lolEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
Is there a way to get google to come back and take new pictures as my street view is showing my old banger parked in my drive and I've since bought a brand new car and also replaced my old gravel drive with block paving?
And I've also painted the exterior woodwork as well.0 -
