Not all Beemer drivers are gits! It is funny though, seeing surprised faces when I give way or indicate (I always do). Anyway 1 series owners tend to be nicer than the 5 series owners.

Where i live there are a lot of 1 series owners who are wannabe 3/5 series owners, who just opted for the 1 series...

as a 5 series owner, there is only one thing you need to know.

You own and drive a BMW - this gives you authorised right over every other lesser model on the road.

The badge and the kidney grills in the rear view mirror of lesser species should act in exactly the same manner as blue flashing lights:D

This was obviously true when I had my lovely white R1150GS with high vis stripes on the fairing. In my Hi-vis jacket and white helmet I would see other road users pulling out my lane as I appeared in their rear view mirror and sometimes even flashing there lights to show their gratitude as I shot past them.
