Well just packed away my delivery and the fruit and veg is fab, and big and cheap :j
I will use again for just fruit and veg and split delivery cost with my mum, very good quality.0 -
Got my second delivery today and still very impressed.
The pears are massive as are the baked potatoes and the mince is very tasty. Grapes are lovely as well.0 -
Just a heads up on the Whole Earth peanut butter.......it's awful. Has an expiry date of Oct 2011, is runny, smells bad & tastes gross. Friend tried it too, & said the same thing. Both jars are going in the bin.0

Sadly, i'm unable to give this company anything like the same glowing report which others give them. They've also failed to impress me as a consumer, or simply impress me at all, with their level of 'service', period.
Just used ROSSPA for the first time, placed the order last Sunday, had a phone call on Monday AM just confirming a slight error with my delivery postcode, which was corrected over the phone, nothing was mentioned by their representative about any delivery or supply problems and all goods were shown to be in stock at the checkout, and with also having had that phone call from a member of staff I assumed everything else was okay, or it would surely have been pointed out at the time.
No delivery turned up, and so I just logged into my account and found the order has been cancelled after going to 'picking and packing'
I've not even had the decent courtesy of basic customer service communication giving an explanation for this - no email or a further phone call informing me of any issue and what was the cause, no explanation given on the account - just a blunt 'cancelled' - how rude
ROSSPA = LACK OF COMMUNICATION & CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS WORST - AVOID!!!!!
So in my own experience, ROSSPA suffer from two of the worst traits which any online business can suffer from, namely lack of customer communication and, in my case, they are clearly unable to produce the goods, on a simple 4 line order!. Not a good first impression for a new customer from any company, in a growing market which, lets face it - have plenty of competition from other businesses who are able to serve their customers requirements better (Thankfully), and in the future I will be honouring this by giving those other companies my repeat business, and ROSSPA will be rewarded with what they deserve - nothing (which is exactly what they supplied me with!).
In comparison, several orders from approved food all turned up when expected, with no problems whatsoever and mostly in stock, and at least if there is a stock issue, they clearly have the act of providing customer communication down to a fine art, as they even give me the delivery window on the day of delivery, where as ROSSPA can't even get my order out of the warehouse!.
Obviously, in my own experience, Approved Food and other similar entities are bright shining stars in the dark skies which are ROSSPA.
Lets face it, it takes just a few moments to send a quick email just explaining an order cancellation or issue with an order or send an order confirmation, many companies have already figured this out, although ROSSPA appear to believe its perhaps 1911 and not 2011. There is simply no excuse for lack of basic communication in the age that we live in, especially not from a company whose entire business model appears to be through embracing use of the internet!.
So, my advice based on my first impressions of this 'outfit' is that if you ever find yourself on their website, do yourself a favour and hit the 'back button' (its made for companies like these!)"Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
Rosspa are now offering a 10% discount code to 1 person who will be randomly selected each month unfortunately this draw is only available to facebook users (you have to like their facebook page to be entered into the draw).
It seems regular customers such as myself will continue to be excluded from all their promotions unless we sign up for facebook which I personally have no intention of doing at any point in the forseeable future.0 -
chris1973, companies all make mistakes and errors happen. To me it's how they deal with the problem that is more important.0

My first order with Rosspa was made late Thursday with a Monday delivery booked.
Friday morning I got a call saying that as I wanted a Monday delivery, my shopping (perishables included) would be sent to the courier Friday. They asked if they could arrange a Tuesday delivery so the order was packaged Monday.
Chris, did you call to ask why your order was cancelled?
As far as plenty competition goes, I've looked at Approved Foods in the past and dismissed them as I just couldnt see the savings.0 -
Just received my 10th & final order from Rosspa. I had to chuck a lot of the fruit/veg away as it was very poor quality - the bananas were black & like mush, the clementines were shriveled & looked like they had been lying around for weeks on end, & the lettuces were brown & manky (even found an earwig in one of them, ewww). I was also sent 1 wrong item. I hadn't ordered from them for a while because I was happy with the supermarket produce, but I decided to give them another shot.
In the beginning when they were just starting out, I found them very polite, helpful & courteous. Now, you are lucky to even get a reply back to an email/tweet.
It's not very moneysaving if I'm wasting money by having to throw food away, so I think I'll stick to the supermarkets from now on.0
