Easyjet taxes?

I've just received the same email. I booked in November for a flight in March. When I click the terms & conditions link in the confirmation email I received in November, I am taken to the terms & conditions that are effecitve from 14 December (which includes the paragraph on additional taxes), i.e. not in force when I made my booking. Does anyone have an older version of EasyJet's Ts & Cs that I could have a look at - not that I don't trust them...0

i wonder how additional taxes will repair the enviroment. are the extra £5's being woven together to put a big blanket over the ozone layer? I was always taught that money brought wealth not health.0

As previously mentioned in another thread 1.8million will be raised per annum from this little robbery.
And guess what?????
Non of it is going to environmental issues or projects. They are robbing us blindddd.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives

Yes, I booked a March Easyjet flight in November, and I did keep a copy of the T&Cs:
Terms and Conditions
Effective 16 October 2006
5.2.Taxes and Charges
Any taxes or charges imposed by Government or other authority, including the operator of an airport, which we are obliged to collect from you or pay in respect of you and your Flight may be payable by you to us in addition to the Fare. At the time you make a reservation you will be advised of the total amount of such taxes and charges not included in the Fare and payable by you. Such taxes and charges imposed on air travel are constantly changing and can be imposed after the date that your reservation has been confirmed. If any such tax or charge is introduced or increased after the reservation was made you will be obliged to pay it prior to departure. Similarly, if any such tax or charge due is abolished or reduced before we are obliged to pay it you will be entitled to claim a refund from us.

Don't easyjet charge a £10 handling fee if you make a request for a refund of tax paid (in the case you don't take a flight). I tempted to pay the tax, make clear that I'm charging them a £10 handling fee then take them to the small claims court over it.0
