it's the same technology as the 6630, called BB%, I would not expect a non nokia solution for about 6-12 months !!!

Guys,
Could use your help again.
My better half has been given a nokia 6600 (originally on orange), and I attempted to unlock it last night with #pw+109 534 436 737 630+1#. It happily accepted this code, but then I stuck her virgin sim card in and it's just coming back saying sim card invalid. Any ideas?
I've already called virgin, andh the guy said it might need two unlock codes?
(btw. IMEI is 353383002387689)0 -

try this:
#pw+426 547 756 417 440+5#
if still locked then use this:
#pw+343 376 375 135 170+2#0 -

Hi, I should be getting my new 6230i this week and because I am generous to a fault I am giving my current 1100 to my husband, he lost his Sony Ericson (it bounced out of his pocket). I am currently with Vodafone if this makes any difference and he is with BT Mobile. As BT Mobile is basically Vodafone will he be able to put his sim card in my phone or will it need to be unlocked from the vodafone network.
Thanks in advance.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -
Bt-mobile is actually t-mobile.....the employee phones are now with Vodafone but their commercial side has not switched yet as far as I know
so you may need to unlock (and I don't know if they have changed the settings for the 6230i )Ex forum ambassador
