That's not entirely true. The booking system works differently when you book a return flight - for example, both flights are priced in the currency of the outgoing flight. When you select the number of bags you do so for the whole booking, not a specific leg.
You are dead right...............i last flew with them 5 weeks ago and then i only used the return leg to take hold luggage....but i see that this has now changed, sorry for the confusion.
Now i will book each leg separatley if i need to avoid luggage in one direction.
    Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!

Please note that this will only be for 15kg worth. I made the mistake of booking hold luggage and only discovering this after i had packed.

Take a fairly largish backpack. i am taking advantage of the extra 10kg i can take on the plane.

Interesting info you guys ... as you may have noticed I am also a regular Ryanair traveller and thought the same as antenna. Is the solution to simply book the return with no bags and then after it is completed go into Manage My Booking and add the bag(s) to the individual passengers/legs you want? That can surely still be done?

Incidentally, it may not be common knowledge that when you add a bag or somesuch via Manage My Booking you can use any card you like to pay the extra without incurring a card fee  (Don't tell MOL cos he'll have a fit if he finds out :rotfl:)
