we have a charnwood la45ib as does everyone on our small row of houses, as we are in the sticks so no GCH and no oil either. the council put them in in the 60's i think but are still available now. we have a coal merchant who comes round and delivers welsh blend coal. once its going the whole house is warm as toast, and very very efficient too, as long as you load it up from the back angled down with a couple of shovels of coal you dont need to touch it for a dayEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0
