Can anyone recommend movies from the site that don't have the singing and dancing theatrics? I watched a south-asian movie on TV years ago in the early hours, and there was none of the dodgy acting (from the so-called bollywood stars). I really enjoyed it and would love to see something from the same genre.

I don't think Samay - When time strikes has songs and was quite good. Another film is Road with no songs I think that I also enjoyed

Try 'RANG DE BASANTI'.....
It's got bits and pieces of song and dance sprinked throughout the movie, but the movie on the whole 'just rocks'.
It will also definitely change your perception of bollywood.
Universally appealing...new age indian cinema at its best.

Try 'Dil Chatha Hai'. Its a different kind of Bollywood film. More modern and down to earth. Has had great reviews. You still have songs but the film is not your normal bollywood film.

I have just tried limewire again - searched for Abhijeet, Tribute to Kishore Kumar and Suno Nigam. There are alot wma files which I cannot open. Only 4 mp3 files but not the one I needed.

Can any one help?
