Looks good but I wouldn't know where to start.... Any recommendations? I need English subtitles.
  • A lot of these DVDs do have English subtitles...just click through and check on the details. Hard to know what recommendations to give; Indian movies are usually simple plots to follow (though they try and make them as complicated as possible to follow) and there are 3-4 genres; Action (lots of dushm-dushm), Comedy, Romantic, Family Sagas. I'd go for the more recent movies and look for obvious stars such as Amitabh Bachan, Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Hritik Roshan, etc...

Most importantly, settle down and persevere...they can be a little slow at first most of them take a good hour or so to get started!

    Enjoy yourself!

I love the movie 'Devdas' with Aishwarya Rai, so I'd definitely recommend that. I haven't watched many Bollywood movies though, would like to watch more. Thanks for the link, not sure where to start though. :)

Just to put Devdas into context, it's the most expensive Bollywood movie ever made, and has won many many awards. An excellently made film which often apears on channel four.
  • I watched a couple of bollywood movies with subtitles, didn't watch much of the movie but gorgeous girls !!!
