That is what he is doing with tmobile, but for the number of 0845 numbers he calls it is costing him almost £40/month!

What is your monthly tariff and allowance?

His landlord (sort of) who lives at the same address has a Virgin package, so someone else at the same address would qualify for this package. Presumably he would be able to check his prices for free using this and still have a better but cheaper phone package overall?

This would seem to be ideal for him, is there a catch? A free Blackberry with a £9.99/month contract it seems too good to be true!
