Pigpen was just meaning you take medical proffesional advice with a pinch of salt, as how practical is it for the next 22 weeks or how long till baby comes to do nothing, im talking not hoovering, no lifting, no pushing the shopping trolley, no driving  no bending etc, so whilst the cleaner will do most of the cleaning for me, for the day to day stuff i HAVE to do for my sanity im stuffed.

Im off to get dressed and then have a HHC (a gentle one) at 8 :)

It just isn't possible and I think they are idiotic for even suggesting anyone does nothing.. what do they expect people to do... you drop a £10 note.. are you meant to leave it?? You can get shopping delivered to avoid the trolley.. but you then need to put it all away... I just tell them not to be so stupid..they can't seriously expect people to take any notice.. so long as you are sensible and careful it is usually ok.

Fitting carpets is silly  but I don't know anyone who would do that  or change plug sockets/light switches

Me either. In all honesty, i have been too scared to even LOOK at the list as it will only make me cry! lol

I have an upside down kitchen atm. DH decided that he wanted the plates moved out of a lower cupboard and onto a higher one. so i figured, in for a penny, in for a pound and emptied one half of my kitchen. its looking quite scary but the school hols are about to start and i am adamant i WILL get it all done.

Kids have kept their room relatively tidy but bugs in cupboard are still there (Albeint dead bugs now as i have filled that place with a big spray but they are scattered all over the shelves and floor again. I can't cope. i am bad with bugs at the best of times. :( )

I have all the contents of the office in my bedroom AGAIN as dh started painting and sanding. it will only take a day to sort but its finding that day in amongst the seven day week he (and I) is/are currently working.

I am at teh point where almost every minute of my clean involves a binbag dance of sorts. but its slowly getting done and i WILL have a nice home by the time baby arrives. Just two and half weeks to go. Where is this nesting urge?? I want it done but have no energy to do it. I blame the sun. :D

Hello all. I used to post here but havent for ages - Please will you all have me back. I have just (well 10 weeks ago now1!!) had no5 and he is a very demanding little one who just doesnt like to be put down so finding time to do everything just isnt happening!!
I have the biggest pile of clothes that I need toput away into the right bedrooms and there seems to always be some washing up that needs doing etc!! So I need to get things under control again......with baby steps that fit in with my baby...

So baby is asleep in the sling at the mo and the bigger kids are home from school as all have the chicken poxs but they want to do some crafts! So will sort them out and then hang nappies out on the line and pop the next lot in the washer. and if I have a chance before baby wakes I will hit a little of the washing up!

Will report back at next feeding time :) and then try level one from the list later :)

    Hope everybody is well x

*in complete Pollyanna mode* hosue was a mess this morning - and FULL of teenage girls so instead of tidying my kitchen I hot-footed it to help my friend out with my Friday Errnand...
this has proved to be a good decision as DS cut a slice of cake and dropped the plate, and the cake, on the floor. And the plate broke

anyway I have pegged out washing, brought in washing (when I got back) and pegged out some more.

    going to

    have a shower
    strip beds
    put aired/ironed washing away
    iron some more
    make beds
    clean bathroom

BUT NOT NECESSARILY IN that ORDER
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Well it looks like everyone has abandoned ship today!! lol.. What are you all up to?

Been to B&Q... I forgot front door paint and wire brush.. ggrrr.. but I did get a curtains pole, 1 light switch, 3 sockets, emulsion, pearly paint, gold gloss, filler, sandpaper and OH threw in some car cleaning bits.. that can be a job for him and the boys I think.. and the trellis for the honeysuckle is also his job.. :D

I may go paint some skirting and a radiator and a door or 2... IF I have something to clean the brush with once I have finished.. oops..

Squeak needs yet another clean nappy... and I need to feed everyone and fold the 5 loads of washing I brought off the line earlier.. and get some more in I think.. work surfaces need the once over as well.. OH spilled sugar all over one and has swept it but it is sticky!

They didn't have any of the paints I wanted.. ggrrrr... so I got different ones.. still, it'll only be scrawled on no doubt.. I can't wait to get the new pics up though and the mirror they are so cute. OH was not very helpful.. appparently I shouldn't be choosing little girly paint etc as the room will look tacky... well duh!! lol Is that not the idea behind little girls rooms? Oh.. I got glitter paint for the odd bit as well.. :D

ive done frog 2a and 2b from my list, am going to go and have a HHC in the living room and then plonk myself down to watch a bit of mindless telly. My manager and his manager are coming to see me on monday so not looking forward to that, but never mind they have to do it to follow policy i suppose, and they cant really do anything to me discipline wise as its a pregnancy issue thats causing the absence.

Well, I've printed a list based on Pigpen's and put names next to it for who is to do what. Will be issuing it to DH and DD tomorrow so I will report back how it went. I'm v excited (how sad).

DH has done the DW every evening since I said :)

Just going to put a chicken in the oven, load the TD and fold some laundry, then do some veg or sommat to go with the chicken. Very bored of roasts, but I can't get DD to eat much else. Really longing for a curry....
