I am currently on the 6 month half price offer and took out this package via my account and then contacted them to check if I was still going to get the discount and was told that it does not cancel your offer deal and not only that if you had 3 months left on your half price offer after the current free 2 months you would get it for 50% off the price but the website does not show you "offers" phone up and check :)

The guy also said on the phone that if your unsure to upgrade via the website just phone them up and they will add it and it will give them a warning if your package will change price
Thats good news then. If anyones unsure just ring, i got through straight away and had it all clarified.

Do you think you can keep the movies recorded after the deal is over, just wondered if they stayed in your planner.

When i first got sky i had this offer of free movies for 2 months and i recorded all the good films but when i cancelled the films didnt work.

They were still in planner but when you clicked them to play it just came up that i need to upgrade my package to watch it. so doubt it will work after cancelling.

17th August but if you forget and do it on the 20th you will only be part charged for it. you wont have to pay another FULL month.

My customer services person said my 25% for 12 months deal would become invalid if I took up the deal. I believe other people have been told this too, so I'm a bit wary. Even if there was no change while taking the offer up I would be concerned about calling to cancel and being told that doing so would affect my deal. I hope everyone taking it up has luck with it though!

Just be aware it negates your previous deal and you go back on the full tariff
