did it on-line, switched over to movies and it was on straight away, already marked on the calender to cancel next month. Great spot, thanks.
I actually rang on Friday to see if there were any current offers on, but nothing doing, thought with the Murdoch scandal going on, they might try and tie people in with 12 month contracts on an offer.0 -
What happens if you are on a 1/2 price contract? Before if you upgraded you reverted to 'normal' priced sky even if you cancelled any upgrade. Find out BEFORE you jump those of you on half price!0

When it does come to cancelling the two month offer haggle with them to keep it free for a few more months or at least at a discount. Last time I had this offer I had an extra four months taking me into Xmas.0

Yeah, thats my plan. Hoping to get them to talk me into taking the Sports channels too (football season) on a special offer. I think they know all the usual sob stories though, I think they now even call peoples bluff about cancelling too. When it does come to cancelling the two month offer haggle with them to keep it free for a few more months or at least at a discount. Big tip about Sky. It always depends upon the person on the phone. Some operators are better than others. If they call your bluff pretend the line has gone dead before they process anything, something like, "Hello? Hello?" Then pretend to tell someone in the room with you "I'll have to phone back"0 -
Mmm I'm trying to get this offer but its a bit confusing.
Atm i pay £23 a month and its saying total cost will be £33 a month then going up to £49 a month after the 2 months runs out.?
Then at the bottom it says new monthly costs £33 a month lol, why make it so bloody confusing!! Gonna have to ring em i think.0 -
