I tend to have next to no period for several months and then have a monster one to make up for it! I would certainly say give it at least 6 months - 12 months before deciding it is no good.

I've been on Cerazette for about 4 months and just had my first period (if you could even call it that, it was so light!) a couple of weeks ago and it only lasted 4-5 days. I did find that in the first 2 months I felt really queasy, I actually had to take a test to make sure it wasn't morning sickness it was so bad! Seems to have settled down now, although it still hits now and again.

I'm not the biggest fan TBH but as I'm going to start TTC in October it seemed a little silly to come off one pill and move to another for the sake of a few months and deal with yet another overhaul of my hormones so I'm putting up with it until then, but I'm really looking forward to throwing the leftovers away!

Really glad i saw this thread, I started taking this in january of this year and have never had a period since, apart from very sore boobs in the beginning, i have no other side affects, fingers crossed.
The non bleeding at first was a worry, but i feel much better after reading peoples posts.

I was on it for about a year and never had a period. I just had spotting once a week or so instead. I found it so annoying I just stopped taking it.
