((((NPM))))
Any knowledgable bird people here? This afternoon/evening there has been a small bird perching on my balcony railing. This never normally happens (bar the evil pigeon incident!). he is a bit bigger than a bluet!t, but is mainly brown/black, with white and dark blue on chest. There are no other similar birds nearby, just pigeons and seagulls. He seems quite content on just sitting on my balcony railings, and then flying off occasionally. he looks around a lot but isn't fazed when i open the sliding door. Do you think there may be a nest nearby? Should I put food out for him?

Try and get a photo of him, we might be able to identify him from that, and yes you could put some food out, do you have bird seed ? and maybe some water too xx0 -

I tried to take a pic but it was too grey outside for it to show much. There's enough water out there for him what with the rain!! :rotfl:Don't have birdseed, have some nuts (sunflower/brazil) and bread.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

The sunflower and brazil nuts should be fine, chop the nuts up though, he might be in bed by now though x0 -
NPM - hugs to you. All mums worth their salt blame themselves when stuff happens to their children. Maybe you do have some traits but then I reckon I do too and some of those traits are what made you a damn good nurse !! However your ability to love and your compassion outshine anything else and you should focus on those xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
