I wanted some household type stuff, but they had turned the area in Brighton Next that is usually for household stuff into a shoe sale area and taken away all the usual household stuff. Was really annoyed, but still managed to get me and OH half price coats.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0

I have come to the conclusion that had I really wanted something that is now in the Next sale, I would have already bought it at full price. I have saved loads by not buying. My cupboards are bulging with all "that would be useful" just because it was half price!SallyD0

Got to say I was really impressed with our local store - CREWE - We went early on 27th (early is 5:30) it was already packed and the car park was chocker. The staff were really great and appeared very organised despite the time - think they were all on red bull! When we got home we realised that some shoes had not been reduced. So OH went back yesterday with Daughter in tow wearing the shoes - H/E The shoes had not been in the sale but the manager refunded half the money as a good will gesture.
I have heard alot of bad mouthing about the Next sale but have to give three cheers to the Crewe, Cheshire branch!0 -
My friend tells me she took her 7 year old daughter into the one in Longton, Stoke on Trent yesterday. She sat her down to try her some boots on and while she was doing it someone stole her daughters shoes!
Staff said that they couldnt have been sold by mistake so obviously some low life stole them. Sad state of affairs when you cant try on a pair of shoes0 -

I got a lovely pair of jeans for £15 which isn't exactly cheap but they were embroidered and were a great Xmas present, I never shop in Next usually but have got a couple of things in the sale - best buy was 3 tshirts for £5 last summer but I usually wait until after the first day of sales as I hate not being able to try stuff on.Mortgage Free since January 2018!0

If you think it's bad shopping in the Next sale - try working in one! It's like trying to keep a rugby scrum tidy, and people used to abandon their kids near me at 6am so they could shop - never again!2007 Bronze Olympic Challenge: Total £1057.34 :jDFW Nerd 269: Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0
