Brrr it is cold and wet today, last night I had to resort to wearing fluffy bedsocks just to keep my feet warm:eek:

I printed off the destructions to the interview place last night but have decided to drive past my mum's and go down the lanes as this is an easier route than trying to go through several roundabouts and getting totally lost on the ring road. I have two easy routes to choose from - I havent driven either of them for about 30 odd years:eek:

Am about to go and have a wash and wash my hair before sorting myself out - must remember to put the warpaint on today too.

Hi, Horace! How are you? You're moving at last? How exciting! Is this to the house you were looking at a few months ago, or a different one?

Good luck witht he job interview.

Mega rantiness - the LLs henchmen banged on my door at 8am demanding a key to my front door as they have a viewing today:mad: I am trying to get ready for this interview and now I am stressed beyond belief. I have written a rather stern letter to my landlord and rung the poxy agents who only have a dopey girl on the phone and no-one in their office dealing with viewings:mad:

My flat looks untidy and I have dumped stuff on the bed, I havent washed up yet either as I tend to wait until I have a few things to wash rather than waste water to wash one plate and one cup. I have papers etc everywhere and my stress levels have rocketed.

Wordy - the house is the one that I viewed long ago and we are waiting to exchange, the vendors are the vendors from hell as they are so greedy and tiresome. They are incredibly stupid and where we have asked questions they havent understood and have been too dense to ask their own solicitor:mad: I will be glad to leave this flat as it is cold and very noisy.

I havent put my makeup on yet either...am far too stressed. Oh I wish I had more than one pair of hands to help me pack..maybe I will get the removers to do it after all as one has said they will let me have 20 boxes free and 2 men to pack at £50 per hour the day before I move. They will then charge me £395 to do the move - this includes 2 men and a 7.5 tonne lorry. They are the only removal firm that have provided a written quote - others have just done verbal quotes. This firm comes highly recommended.

Don't worry about the untidiness and washing up. It's not your responsibility to make the flat look good so that someone wants to rent it - well, it may be a bit, but I think if they are not giving you warning you needn't too burdened with guilt. Concentrate on the job interview - it's all that matters until it's over. Good luck.

Hmmmm..what a day. I managed to sort out the letting agents and have agreed they can arrange viewings between 4pm and 6pm and they must contact me first. They must not under any circumstances let themselves into my flat when I am not in. I reminded them of their legal obligations about not letting themselves in too.

I managed to calm down and put my makeup on and then I headed out at 1.15pm to give myself plenty of time to get there. The roads were horrendous and I managed to get myself lost on the ruddy ringroad (the directions I had been given were diabolical and google was no better). I nearly pranged my car as I suddenly spotted a sign saying superstore so cut across and in - cutting in front of someone and then my wheel hit the kerb (I may have to get the tyre replaced, I will check tomorrow). I parked on Sainsbug's as it was not far from where I needed to be and even then I got myself lost and despite being given directions I could not see the sign for the building so someone had to come out and get me:( As a result of all the driving about and getting lost, I arrived 15 minutes late:mad: I did ring twice to say that I was lost though and the interviewer was really nice - I thought the interview went well and she said she had more people to interview next week and would let me know at the end of next week.

It is a job that I would love to do as it means building rapport with people and making around 60-70 calls a day (calls to clients old and potentially new working on a B2B basis). I got on really well with the MD and she was surprised at my certificates even looking at the crazy personal ones where i have done things like hot air ballooning.

I was soaked to the skin as I had to walk from Sainsbugs to the office and back again as it is still raining. I came back a different way and the roads are all flooded and generally cack.

I think that tonight Ping will be cooking dinner as I have just rescued something from the freezer (something that is brown - it could be a chicken, beef or lamb stew).

I had some comfort food for tea - the brown gloop was lamb stew and itwas rather nice if I say so myself, I followed it with the bargainous apple crumble from MnS's whoopsie shelf:D

I have removed the clothing from the bed and in doing so found a pair of jeans that I had forgotten that I had got:o I will sort that pile out tomorrow morning.

I must try and continue with my packing - I need to clear off the ironing board (used as a handy shelf) and fold it up and put it out of the way. I am ashamed to say that I have been a very untidy pup:(

Morning peeps - it is gloriously sunny here and I am basking in 30 degree heat (I am fibbing because it is wet, cold and windy at the moment). I have so far sorted out my certificates after finding my wedding diploma. I have also cleared a box of brochures and refilled the box with papers, business cards etc. More stuff to be sorted.

Must remember to tax the car and sort out my mail as I would like to pick it up from the post office. I also need to contact the council as I only received one HB payment last month for £207.70 despite being told that I would receive another at the end of the month - no other payment has been received (no wonder my books aren't balancing properly).

Well, I had best crack on I suppose - packing is disheartening. Oh I washed up too and emptied the kitchen bin.
