I took the tree down last night and managed to get my lights into a tangle so I have sorted them this morning and they are now packed away. The zip has bust on the bag I used to keep the tree in (it cannot be fixed), however, the bag was cheap and one of those large plastic ones that you sometimes see on Eastenders when folks take their laundry to the launderette. I have a smaller bag and the tree has been put in that along with my box of santas and the tree lights so I am in the process of sorting out the rest of the bag which seems to contain all sorts of stuff eg. ribbons, wrapping, stickers, glittery bits, cards and loads of present bags so that I have bags to use for crimble and birthdays (enough bags to keep me going for 3 years at least:eek:).
Feeling a bit meh today although I have opened the window to let some air in and the sun is out. I am cross with myself for getting into this pickle and for losing my mojo and all confidence in myself and my abilities. I am even struggling with an online application form for the local college (why on earth do they insist on using some FE agency whose forms are diabolical? I think I might go down and ask for a paper version and complete that by hand because mention is made of using separate sheets on the online version but you are unable to attach further sheets:mad: I have seen a job at a medical centre too which I am applying for - this doesn't appear to be as stressful and doesnt require much thinking which I am happy to do.0 -

I woke up this morning with the best intentions, to try and list 5 things before DS woke, free listing on ebay and it 11.42 and nothing has occurred.....0 -
I have received some help from a Matrixette who works for the Revenue - she has had a look at the stuff I have been sent and instead of it being a tax bill where I owed them money was in fact notification that they owe me money:j In my postbox today was a cheque for £447.76:cool:
Just catching up - glad it was a refund and not a bill :T
I was seriously worried that I might have to do some tax calcs for you :rotfl:0 -
