Parking Eye Appeal Rejected...What Next???

Hi Guys, this may be a first, but amazingly enough, after writing to Parking Eye and proving I was shopping in the place they gave me the ticket, I received a letter in the post informing me that the charge had been cancelled!! I couldn't believe it, knowing what a bunch of persistent vultures they are, but I though I'd let you all know and thank you for your support and replies. Is this a first I wonder or was I just lucky enough to catch them on a good day? either way, it's a huge weight off my mind!0

Well done!
I suspect the BPA has asked its members to send them a few 'successful appeals' for show, to prove to the govt that the BPA can play nicely and its members can operate an 'appeals system'. Which is absolute b#ll#cks as we all know.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I appealed a parking eye charge and attached my receipt and bank statement and they have cancelled the charge, this was in an Aldi car park. I had already sent the appeal e mail before i read this thread.0

Please don't bump threads from more than a year ago, good that they allowed your appeal, but we don't need to see it on every parking eye thread which there are hundreds on hereExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Hi i have been issued a fin from parking eye before christmas. I googled them and looked at a few forums and everyone said the same to ignore them, which i did, since then i received a further 2 letters asking for the fine to be paid which had then gone from £50 to £85. i still ignored these letters. Today i have received a letter from a company called "Debt Recovery Plus Ltd" who are sayin that they are acting on behalf of parking eye and the fee is now £135 and i am to pay within 14 days, and that if payment is not received this matter MAY be passed to the landholders solicitor to commence county court proceedings. What should i do, should i just pay, its beginning to stress me out, but i hate to be ripped off. Help.0

I think you should read the post immediately before yours (dated over 6 months ago).
You do need to start a new thread as individual cases can be somewhat different and joining an existing thread - especially an ancient one - risks having conflicting and confusing messages relating to multiple cases.
You will get good advice on here, so just copy and paste your post into a brand new thread. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
