How do you 'tell' that joke. It surely only works well in print?
He did prefix it by saying "this works better in print", but it has tickled me. I've been chuckling for about five minutes now. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

.....I thought it was normal to carefully check the prices compared to weights, or if the deals work out cheaper or more expensi e than usual etc but obviously, it isn't!
Or am I just ever so slightly strange........
I think there's something strange about you if you don't!
It's much easier with the additional information now, well until you arrive at Tesco's Heinz tomato sauce. They must have around 8 different sizes with different offers on some of them. It's a real "Krypton factor" but I love a challenge :A
The marmalade was annoying as I only wanted a small (half) jar which was 90p when the full one was only £1.10. I was torn and ended up buying a better looking in between size jar for around £1.35, their loss!
The good thing about Tesco is you can always find a decent bottle of Cab Sav on offer for around a £5er :beer:0 -

Here's a challenge.
Next time you are shopping try and buy some diet Coke in standard cans.
In my Tesco you can buy singles, 8's, 12's and 24's. The shelf edge ticket will show the cost per 100ml - great no problem - 8 x table isn't too much of a challenge and Tesco are doing the sums anyway.
The problem comes because people will only buy if something is on offer. However the shelf edge ticket will only have the cost per 100ml based on the unpromoted price.
If 12x330ml is £4.79 (12.1p/100ml) and 8x330ml is £3.85 (14.6p/100ml) what's the cheapest per can? It's easy - Tesco give you the answer.
What if you can buy 2 x 8x330ml for a promotional £5.00? You need to do the sums yourself because the shelf edge doesn't have a price per 100ml based on the promotional price. Sometimes there will be a promotion on the 24s' and occasionally pallet of 32's as well as a 2 x 8's offer.
Well if I get sick of this I might pop over to Asda. They sell 15's and 30's just to keep life simple - the 15's are on a price down at the moment.
I drink a lot of diet Coke - it's not easy*.
*It's just as complicated with pepsi - I just don't like the taste.0 -
