its too hot out, LJ....I'm inside gulping water and watching the news before going outside to bake some more.

I'm trying to decide what to do next :)

'd suggest eating ice cream!:D (or perhaps  is more appropriate)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I feel like PN. Indeed, on PN's behalf, you lot are posh.

I have three freezers (one doesn't work though) but only a very broken fridge...which will definitely need replacing v. soon. this hot spell is proving difficult.

MY main pc is hidden behind some furniture at the moment so I am on the netbook and on a 10 inch screen I don't have a lot to go on from that picture. Are those Lydia's kids?

tbh, even big its a bit slim on stuff to go on. The corner of a cabinet on the right, a dresser on the left, the mantel (and gorgeous out of reach french range/range cooker), the floors and the doors ...of a height that must be on some sort of Chateau or very grand house in France.

See .... they can plead all they like ... we know who is posh :)

Posher than a spare fridge though would be a lake.

Only because we moved and the old one wouldn't fit in the gap in the kitchen, so we bought one that did fit and kept the old as a spare. The spare that is 10+ years old and suffered by being in the garage fir 5 years as against the smart American f/f that has developed a fault.

Now phoned the manufacturer and they have a known fault with this make and they will fix it free, but they can 't say when.

They don't fool me. Cannibalism may be 'in' at present, but really posh people just don't do it. ;)

We have two freezers, a fridge/freezer and a fridge, but we're not posh.

Here, it's a necessity to have a bit of spare capacity in case someone turns up with an animal, hopefully in handy, pre-packed chunks.

ATM we are expecting a pig, or maybe only half a pig, but there's no telling exactly when it will arrive. :D

I expect they will have a local service agent that will sort it. They should be quick but if you found out who the agent was you could possibly persuade the agent that you need it fixed tomorrow.
