well, it's not a good start to the day when you can't find your wedding and engagement rings is it?
Mrs McT does it all the time, along with her watch.
In my experience, they are most likely to be found....
1. In the bathroom beside the sink
2. In the bathroom on the edge of the bath
3. Beside the kitchen sink
4. On the kitchen counter“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

i'll go panic searching again0 -
tidied it before dinner..
Oh dear....
Tidying and putting it somewhere "safe" is the worst.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Hrumph! Tesco have just knocked one of our 'tasteful' bollards down. (Think machine-rounded posts with nautical rope threaded through!) They were reversing into next door with a home delivery.
I have photographic evidence & all the details, so I'm tempted to make a claim, but it's a badly designed entrance and I was going to move the damn thing anyway, come winter time.
DW isn't best pleased. It's the only 'nice' bit of garden we have.0 -
Go tidy the kitchen counter again and imagine where a good place to put the rings would be.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Er.. have you checked the bins?
Or the floor under the normally-safe-places?
I have photographic evidence & all the details, so I'm tempted to make a claim,
Do so. After all, even if you were going to move them anyway, Tesco doesn't know that, and you will have to do it ahead of schedule“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

That's my money saving top tip. Do it all the time with my credit card. Certainly reduces the impulse buys on t'internet.0 -

If they didn't come clean (which it sounds like) I say hit 'em with a complaint. See if they offer you some vouchers etc
If they owned up then I say let 'em off.0
