yes, I'd concurr with tomterm. I haven't seen that many sheep in the carribean! Goats yes, and coated goats......go-at curry....mmmmmmmmmmm. My favourite sheep are castlemilk moorits http://castlemilkmooritsociety.co.uk/default.aspx then the things like soay and boreray and tomtems sheep. But even I think castlemilks are cute.....only problem is you can't get near 'em usually. :)

The main sheep breads in the Carribean are Barbados Blackbelly http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/sheep/barbadosblackbelly/index.htm and Pelibuey http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/sheep/pelibuey/index.htm . But they have a lot more goats than sheep, that is true.

I don't know what the main sheep breeds were, but I saw them on St Kitts and they were everywhere. AIUI there has been a cull since (or at least calls for a cull). They were all over the train tracks, stopping car traffic. I have since googled and the saying around there was "goat tails go up and sheep tails go down" and I remember being told that. I do know others have seen them, because I've found their holiday snaps:

That's amazing, I truely have never seen or heard of either! Now I wanna know more about them!

edit: I called my parents and said ''what about these sheep, why didn't I see them?'' typically, my mother knew all about them....but my father hadn't noticed goats either. At least I was a child with no interest in farming then, he was grown up and should heve been interested!

Just for you lir, I've uploaded a pic I took of them running up the road. I'm told that most of these are sheep, but there are some goats there too.

Doing the ironing and switched the TV on to...celebrity big brother.

There is a guy from big fat gypsy wedding in it. Sally Bercow (the speaker's wife) is trying to explain to some blonde woman what a gypsy is, the girl doesn't understand. Unbelievably thick and those Jedward characters - more brain cells in their hair gel than in their head.

All the young girls are in bikinis with woolly shrugs/ cardigans on top. This is less than 2 miles from here. Its cold and raining out, who would wear a bikini?

I've just come back from a lovely walk on Hampstead Heath. It was sunny and very warm. I've just had a shower because I got so sweaty doing my 15 mins at 70%. You're only 7 or 8 miles away, Silver.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

You're walking, they are just sitting and smoking.

If it was warm they wouldn't need cardies would they? I mean what sort of look is a bikini with a wrap on top?
