Hey BB, Please try not to unduly worry, in a couple of days when your head is clearer write down all the times you can remember that he has let DS down and start to make a diary from now on of anything else that happens. Don't forget all the stuff like no interest in schooling, parents evening etc.

Get yourself some advice, if nothing else it will help put your mind at ease! I am sure it will come to nothing, seems like he is just trying to gain some credibility back - but it's best to be prepared!

Hopefully court will see straight through him and put him away for longer!

    Stay strong!

Hi Benben ~ another daily reader here :o Thinking about you on what must be a day of very conflicting emotion.

Sounds very much like a desperate man trying to hang on to the one bit of stability he has in his life at the moment. Another one voting for the cool, calm and polite approach tomorrow, hear out what he has to say as it may well be all bluster ~ and clearly we all know the view is always so much better from the moral high ground ;)

    Take care and stay strong

I came dashing here from FB too.

He might change his mind on the access or maybe it might be a kick up the bum and make him a better father?

It might be lilmiss, but I don't want him in our life anymore than necessary. We have our own happy life here and I'm fighting like crazy to keep ds settled and on track, and I really dont want him butting in anymore than I have to :o

Mmmm he picks the day he pleads guilty to say he wants more access to DS?

Deflecting from how much he let down and shamed his son by doing something so bad he gets a prison sentence!!??

Putting the spotlight back on you and blaming you and making out like he is the wronged one and the perfect dad.....wonder why he hasn't fought before now, wonder why he doesn't go to parents evening...I wonder why he isn't involved in the camhs stuff etc etc etc ...

Tell him instead of worrying about access he needs to worry about how DS is going to cope with this let down, shame, and loss of stability of routine and his dad for x amount of months!!!

Don't take him on BB he is a criminal and a !!!!!! dad who you don't have to answer to the only one who needs to be answering to anyone is him..to the law, his son, his parents etc he risked his sons stability coz he's selfish so don't even net into discussions of access just keep him on track about the here and now and how this leaves DS emotionally and financially...

Ggrr can yountell I'm mad on your behalf lol
Tell him instead of concentrating on
